  1. As I'm no longer gigging, I'm selling my well used but well loved Gallien Krueger 1001RB-II head. Fantastic amp for both the studio and live use. Reliable, great tone control and full of power. No trades. Collection or drop off at a mutually convenient location. Here's a few of the features for those not in the know: · Drive channel with independent EQ and volume for moderate grit or full grind. · Balanced DI with level control, Pre/Post and Ground Lift switches to feed the house, Tuner output, FX Loop for connecting outboard accessories on the front. And two ¼ inch speaker jacks and two twist lock speaker connectors to ensure reliable and safe cabinet connections, mounted in the rear. · Unique Horn Bi-Amp system sends the high frequencies to the horn through a separate 50W amplifier. This has many advantages: The horn level is controlled from the front panel. The horn is not overpowered by the larger amp so failures are reduced. When the woofer amp hits the rails (growl) the horn stays clean. · Boost control adds tube like harmonics and signature "GK growl" using G.I.V.E. technology. · Dual rail Analog power amp and toroidal transformer provide the current required to control the speakers at high volume. · Inherited from the 800RB, this unique design varies the EQ bandwidth to retain a musical response even at extreme settings.
  2. Don't say that. I can feel the regrets setting in already
  3. SOLD I've told myself on many occasions that this was the one guitar I would never part company with, but here I am. Due largely to the fact that my covers band recently disbanded and the Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute act I also used to play with is no more, I just feel that it's time for somebody else to be given the opportunity to enjoy some time with this beauty of a bass. Also, I've recently developed a horrible case of gear lust for some very expensive synths! This is a Silver Flake 2004 model (before the Funk Unlimited rebranding I think) and comes with an Aguilar pre-amp and Bartolini pick up. All round good, fully working condition but the paint has chipped away on a small area of the headstock and the neck has a bit of wear. I've tried my best to show this in the photos (as you can hopefully see, it's pretty minimal and doesn't affect the playability in any way). Words can't really describe what a joy the carbon fiber neck is to play and how truly epic it sounds when cranked up but fans of Flea and the Chill Peppers will have an idea I guess. Given the current street value of Modulus basses, I'm hoping that my valuation is a fair reflection of the condition its in. The bass has had professional annual set ups during my time with it and has fantastic low action. Without doubt a true wow guitar. The price includes a Modulus hard case and shipping. Collection is also an option, should you prefer. No trades thanks.
  4. Yep. I've just seen your PM and replied
  5. SOLD. Built like a tank and has been a permanent resident on my pedalboard since purchase. Super versatile and does a great job of simulating classic amps. Only selling as my covers band has recently disbanded so I am downsizing my gear. Good, fully working condition bar a few scratches and paint wear on the edges. Velcro already attached for pedal board use. £150 including postage Here's the official blurb from Tech 21: The Deluxe version of the SansAmp VT Bass features a combination of a warm, all-analog signal path and convenient digital recall. There are 6 program locations and dual inputs for two instruments to be on-line, ready to go. Create three custom tones for each input or use all six locations for a single instrument. And you can program the FX loop to engage your favorite effect each time a so-designated preset is selected. Super simple to operate, changes can easily be made on the fly. You just turn the knobs to a setting you like, double click on a footswitch and it’s saved in that channel. You can custom tweak and program six of your personal sounds, from vintage clean to gnarly overdrive to crushing distortion. Actual size: 9-7/8"L x 5-1/4"W x 2-1/4"H.
  6. Sure, there might be a small increase in price to cover international postage though. Send me a pm and we'll discuss
  7. Alas, my efforts to integrate a fifth string into my life have been in vain After continually reverting back to my 4 stringers, I've decided that now is the time to let someone give this little beauty the time she deserves Fender Jazz Standard V USA manufactured ('98) Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder Jazz Bass pickups (great midrange) When purchased, I was informed that the colour was Lake Placid Blue but, having compared with Fender's colour charts, I'm not too sure about that. Regardless, it's unique and great on the eye Fender hardcase included and I've got a black Jazz bass scratch plate somewhere, so I can include that if requested (so long as I can find it!) The only blemishes are a few thin scratches on the back of the body, I tried my best to capture these in the photos but due to their very slight nature they're not really visable. Needless to say, they are minimalistic at best SOLD PENDING PAYMENT Hopefully someone can provide a home for her, so that I can finance the purchase of some more gear that I'll never end up using [attachment=168506:photo_1.JPG] [attachment=168507:photo_5.JPG] [attachment=168508:photo_3.JPG] [attachment=168509:photo_4.JPG]
