Timface Posted February 23, 2008 Share Posted February 23, 2008 OK I really would like a program that would allow me to plug my bass into my PC record it, then use Vst plugins to get the right tone ect.. and if needed then plug a guitar in and put another track down? urb Posted February 23, 2008 Share Posted February 23, 2008 It's been a while since I used PC recording stuff but without wanting to sound totally ignorant I suggest you try getting hold of Cuebase - or a light version of Pro Tools if such a thing exists - sorry but I'm totally Mac based andf have been for some time - there must be some entry level recording software for PCs that doesn't break the bank right? Sonar INHO as the better plug-ins {EQ, s, Compressors) and is good value for money. If you only want to record a few tracks of audio and tweak it most sequences will do More important is the choice of sound card this effects the quality of the recording.
