wateroftyne Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 The Scout is going to be inherently warm and tubby sounding, with higher highs due to the tweeter. I don't have any experience with the Midget, but I imaging it'll be tighter and punchier with more going on in the mids, but able to handle lows if you add them in. I'm sure a Midget owner will be along soon to confirm or deny it. The Midget will be lighter, too. Do you have a Walkabout Scout at the moment, or just the Walkabout head? TBH, the Walkabout extension speaker wouldn't be on my list of 12" cabs unless I already had a Walkabout Scout to stack it with. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
