Fender Precision Bass 1965

Recommended Posts

If the pickups, electrics & pickguard have had to be replaced then you can pretty much guarantee that sometime in the past somebody stuck in an extra pickup or two - which involved machining out big chunks of wood that have been now been filled & painted over...
So IMHO way over-priced for a (very) incomplete re-fin - as a genuine 60's pickguard (with aluminium shielding plate that this bass is missing) + original pickups will cost a lot of money to source.
The neck? May very well have had an nitro overspray - which would make it look 'new' & shiny.
