oldslapper Posted October 27, 2010 Share Posted October 27, 2010 Cleaning a recently acquired used PJ Briefcase, I noticed behind the grill was a bit grubby. Took the grill off and the driver cones are covered in dried mud.! Any ideas on how to clean it off? Whilst I'm happy with the sound of the combo, I don't think mud on the speakers is "helpful". Alternatively if your vacuum cleaner has a variable power setting (or an adjustable hole in the vacuum tube) set it to low (open) and with the brush adapter fitted lightly brush the cone; test it on something like your sofa first just so that you gauge the power of the vacuum.
