Pitch tracking - its digital, so tracking is perfect with no glitching
Also wanted to chime in with this. A lot of the time tracking is the fault of the signal going into the pedal. Too much harmonic content and not enough fundamental can throw It off.
This how you get people who can get the boss OC2 to track great all the way to the bottom, and other can'5 get it to track lower than an A.

I still feel guilty about putting my bass stand next to your cab's grille in the car boot that time - hope I didn't scratch it. I'm so used to cabs having covers I didn't even think about it :-(

Mate don't worry about it. It barely left a mark and I'm not one to care that it's immaculate. I've walked it through own in the rain in my arms!! It's one hundred percent fine hahaha

I was the same, with mine arriving a week before Gen3 came out, after a 5 month wait for the cab I ordered!
I wasn't offered a t shirt :( and I was also cheesed off

Having said that, really liking my 2 MB cab's stacked like a vertical 4 x 10

I had the same setup as you dude. Sounds great on tight squeeze stages. This retro 210 gives me a hankering for tall rig again.

They seem to have an odd product development strategy. Same as the 69er one when it was launched. Most normal companies will create a prototype and take some pictures of it - or maybe a few prototypes and send 'em to reviewers etc.

This lot appear to create an imaginary product, ask people to buy it in theory ..... even when they haven't designed parts like the grill. And then, make you wait much longer than you thought for delivery. I saw someone on here saying that this is what you expect for custom builds ........ but this isn't a custom build is it?

Baffling (sic).

Too true it's odd, but it hasn't changed since the the main guy started it, and there is only three of them and I think another one to manage emails etc.

I would say it's more a boutique item, and you have to consider that it's highly likely that your cab isn't even been made when you order.

I ordered a compact years ago now and after a while I got an email asking if I was interested in the gen 3 so swapped to that and waited even longer. The pay off though is grand. I've taken the super Comoact to absolutely everything(,a inlay because I can ) and it's been great in everything I've used it for, and can get far too loud for a bass cab full stop let alone a small 1x12.

I like the idea of scoring two 2x10s vertically though

Crikey! You must be rough on gear! :o ;)

You should see his bass, I'm surprised the thing is in one piece.

My can is still in next to new condition after over a year of taking it to every rehearsal and gig, I have no cover for it either.
And I haven't "babied" mine really either.

^ this. I always play in standard tuning and I've been in bands with some wonkyily tuned guitars.

Same. I've played in metal bands in standard

7. I'm after an electro-acoustic and the only one that tickles me in terms of sound and looks is the takamine TB10, to me it's basically a double bass for us lazy people.

Only I don't have what these are asking price wise. Anything good enough that's cheaper?

8. I'd find out what notes you actually need first and try and transcribe them for standard tuning before buying anything.

Personally I've never felt an absolute need to drop tune a half step unless the bottom Eflat is an absolute must for the song.

9. I use a hell of a lot of drive and play a Musicman bass and boost the kids, but then again going aggressive is what I want.

If I was playing clean I'd use my fingers smoother attack etc. but with a pic I'd turn the treble down on the bass(same as turning the tone pot down on a passive)

Being stuck in NI is pretty bad for trying interesting pedals, nothing's here.

I think I might just pull the trigger on a single Knightfall instead of the 2

Buy Sheps knight fall and save some scrilla

11. Had a pearce for a while but couldn't get the right sound I wanted out of it unless I used a bass I don't get in with generally, thus didn't work to well with the band so ended getting sold on. Would love another though.

Just saw Ant on here formally castrovalva now in Brawlers play in Nottingham and he was using a pearce sounded gnarly as!!!

12. As above.

Pretty much in mint condition, missing the label on the bottom, never had it when. I got it. Also no box

Sounds as it should, mode knobs gives more gain options, not really used properly with bass myself but mint on guitar.

No trades.
No idea on price but seem some sell as low as 60 and as high as 87 on eBay.

13. D'addario exl170 BT (balanced tension)
Each string pulls roughly the same weight when in standard tunings.

Bump your kids, sucking them out will make the two bottom strings boom!!

Pickup height!!! You'd be wrong to think that it has to be equal distance away from each string, the bottom strings vibrate more thus louder so the pickup needs to be a little further away on the low side to compensate. Also adjustable magnets help.
