1. Great gig, nice venue, some of my favourite songs too. Cracking! Great to hear walk in my shadow too - check out the Free version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXjQaZPvzeQ Got piles of pics - pm me Tim and I'll send them once I've got them back. 4. Total and utter genius - shouldn't work, but gloriously does. Bit like these, where drugs have plainly had a positive effect...: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fvs8tdddn2o...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WANNqr-vcx0...feature=related
5. A right fine day, even in the sweltering heat. Some fabulous gear, thanks to Essex for arranging it, it was obvious a lot of work had gone into it. Good on you Tom! Highlight for me was Oggy's immaculate SG - great classic bass, and having my jazz substantially improved by BG. Back next year, unfortunately probably with an SG as well! Terrible gas.....

11. Promethean sounds great - Thomanns out of stock currently though - great combo for the money - reckon I'll be going for that too!
12.
Nice - Minimalist and very black - You would seem to be in a very dark place at the moment How does it play?
Don't know yet - hopefully here by the weekend - I'll let you know!
13.
Considered a Jap? I think they are great.
Ended up with this - mainly for the sheer beautiful blackness of it.... 14. That's mine now! I done bought it from the bay - henceforth to be known as the stealth bass....
15. Obi wan? Jack Bruce for me. Darth Vader? Jean Michelle Jarre....
16. Living the dream - and deserving it based on your youtube stuff. Great bass sound on the fading light! Good luck!
17. Sadly sold at the end of last week! Got the gas for one now though - happy to pay up to £600 but not any more than that - have to keep em peeled - if anyone spots one, let me know!
18. Thanks for that! Have emailed for pics/details.....
19.
Keep the faith! You now have 60 more songs in your kitbag than you had before. That will come in handy if you go for a covers band again .. Oh and maybe you need a black cat bone
Man, that's got to be a lot cheaper than a Mojo hand....
20.
Last time I went to a tug bar I got totally ripped off. Never again.
21. Cheers Eric - fancy the look and sound of it but really don't want to pay the cost of 2 Fender Jazz for a 30 year old bass with impossible to source parts! Might go a grand for the 'unusual' factor though.....
