  1. Hi Pawel,

your bass looks gorgious and it has all the ight hardware as well. What a gem! 😍

I have a few questions tho, hope you don't mind. :)

How's the B-string? Do you have any soundlips?

And what's the total weight of the bass?

    Magnificent instrument!

    Kind regards,

    Don

I learned to play on a Mustang (lovely old competition stripe CAR) and always had a soft spot. This looks particularly lovely. Generally, Mustangs are really easy to play and good fun

    Very fun Indeed,

it plays so fast and effortles that it makes me wonder why I've waited so long to start exploring the shortscale territory.. :)

The amount of beefy low end that comes out of this little beast is amazing, I was playing some dub yesterday and all I had to do was select the P-pickup, dial back the tone knob and "boem!" there was that dub-sound I've always struggled to achieve with my other basses. ❤️

  3. Final Pricedrop => 500Euro + shipping (this includes the Mustang; a brand new fitting Fender shortscale gigbag, the Labella faltwounds, a pro- setup and the original strings and packaging, total value of the set was +-800Euro). Selling due to feeling more at home on a medium scale bass. Everything was bought new 4 weeks ago.

Just got this from Andertons last week wanting to try out a shortscale.

Long story short: I love it! Makes me wonder why I never tried a Mustang and/or a shortscale before.

Alas I'm now regretting not going for a medium scale bass (32inch scale) as the 30"scale is just a tad too small for me at the higher frets,

but I can't trade it in anymore as this was already an exchange for some other gear I bought, hence this feeler.

The bass comes equipped with a fresh set of La Bella 760FL-S Deep Talkin Bass strings (43£) as they come recomended as the best strings for this type of bass and the bass also had a full pro set-up with medium low action which makes it play like a dream.

I´ve also bought a Fender shortscale gigbag with the bass (Never used, brand new!) which is a perfect fit for the Mustang and I will include this in the sale/trade deal

I still have all the original packaging (Both Fender & Andertons box) and the allen keys and other goodies it came with.

The bass was only tested a couple of hours in my livingroom and she's less than a week old,  so it's absolutely mint!

New these go for 599£, the Labella's were another 43£, the pro setup and fret dress costed me another 50quid, the gigbag was another 35£ and the Mustang PJ in this colour is currently sold out in most places,

so grab yourself a bargain and get this brand new bass and all the extra´s for 278£ less.

  4. NOTE:

I will now incl. both a EU and UK power supply and will also ad a SA daisy chain cable (TRS mini) to the deal

so you can connect your SA pedals together. This gives you the option to control more than one pedal at the time with your hothand or expression pedal. :)

    Hi,

as I'm going back to a series of selected boutique fuzz pedals for my new pedalboard my SA OFD is up for grabs.

It's a cracking little pedal with a build in noise gate and fully tweakable EQ, basically possibilities are endless with this thing.. :)

The pedal comes with the original box and U.K. power supply.

As a nice extra I will also ad a wireless HotHand receiver.

    • Diverse Sound Palette — Featuring extremely natural modeling of 12 bass versions of classic overdrive, fuzz, and distortion tones.

    • 3-band tone control — select between “treble”, “mid”, and “bass” for precision tone sculpting.
    • Noise Gate — easily activated 3-level noise gate.
    • Universal Bypass — selectable buffered or true bypass.

  5. Some more pictures I took this morning.

As I've already got my eye on a nice fretless 5'er I'm mainly looking for a straight sale,

but I might still be interested in some (very specific!) trades, be it either a fretless 5 string PJ  OR a decent shortscale, pref. a   Mustang JMJ or similar.

    Kind regards,

    Stay Safe!

Trade! Looking for a Fretless 4 or 5!

    Hi bud,

I was wondering; why don't you make the Ibanez fretless?

I was thinking of offering you my fretted 5string + some cash to get the Ibanez from you to make it fretless as it seems the perfect bass for that with that pickup position and piëzo...

Of course that trade doesn't make sense now as I see you're looking for a fretless as well, but that makes me even more curious why you don't just get the Affirma professionally refretted.. :)

Lovely bass btw, I must admit I'm tempted, just have to sell my fretted 5'er first. ;)

  7. EDIT: I've added more pictures further down the thread! ;)

    Hi,

I'm offering this beautiful bass up for sale/trade.

i.m.o. it is one of the best sounding and most versatile passive jazz basses ever made (check the video).

The bass is mint except for one little ding in the finish on the underside towards the back (you don't even notice it unless you really look for it. Will ad detailed pictures later!), so I'd give it an 9/10.

Soundwise this thing is a beast, the neck pickup goes from a Gibson EB type sound to a P-bass on steroids kinda sound and the bridge pickup goes from a 70's style jazz pu sound to full on Musicman growl,

It is no doubt a very versatile little beast for a passive instrument and she will be missed..

RRP for these is 1350Euro or +-1200£, so I'd set the trade value at +-750£ and cash price at 650£,

I still have the box it came in so shipping is no problem. ;)

Feel free to give me a shout if you have any questions.

The video above gives a nice overview of the different sounds you can get with the passive controls, the video below shows the bass in action in the hands of Lorenzo Feliciati .

  8. FS/FT: Phil Jones DoubleFour, just a couple of months old, including original packaging and manual. => 350Euro + shipping ( PRICE in £ INCLUDES SHIPPING!)

Weighing in at only 4kg/8.8lbs and with a size of (W x H x D): 208 x 203 x 172 mm/ (W x H x D): 8,3/16" x 7, 63/64" x 6.49/64" it is one of the most compact and lightweight bass amps on the market today, yet its has a very big and professional sound with a volume and clarity that you would not expect from such a little box.

I absolutely love this thing, but as I've got a new project in the works that asks for a lot of sub-bass, wobbles and other fx-combinations that demand more speaker surface I'll need something with a little more "oomph"..
Hence I'm looking for a trade with a slightly bigger, yet still relatively compact and lightweight combo or a full range, powered monitor. (I'm also interested in lightweight cabs and amp heads!)

I'm looking at Markbass, Tecamp, Eich amps, Genz Benz, ...

    Preferably a 12" , 2 x 10" or 2 x 8" combo, must be compact and under 20kg as I travel with public transport a lot.

But... I have a decent pre-amp on my pedalboard, so as I mentioned above I will also consider trades with a decent, lightweight, powered, full range speaker that I can use as a monitor and seperate cabs and amp heads, so W.H.Y.G?? :)

I can ad some cash to the trade, so feel free to give me a shout if you have anything for sale/trade that I might be interested in. ;)

    Kind regards,

    stay healthy and safe!

  9. Hi,

me and my bud have build and sold around 20 of these by now and usually we sell these for around 149£ (and the artwork is a 35£ option),

but I need to free up some cash to get the final bits an pieces for a pedalboard that I'm putting together for a new Drum&Bass band, so grab yourself a bargain. ;)

I'm still on the lookout for a decent looper with the capability to save samples and backtracks via usb and a pedalboard that's about 45-60cm wide and 25-30cm deep,  so if you have something like that to trade I might be interested in a trade deal as well.

Those who have ever tried the original Maestro Brassmaster of the Malekko B:assmaster probably already know the wide variety of extreme fuzz and octave up fuzz sounds these pedals are known for.

The WD pedals B:assmaster offers the same sound and quality you can find on the Malekko B:assmaster, but in a smaller, more compact enclosure and at a lower price point.

This pedal has a handpainted one of a kind graphic that really makes it stand out on your pedalboard.

The pedal hasn't left my livingroom yet so it's still in A+, showroom condition.

Looking for 100£ for this, shipping to U.K./ EU zone included.

    cheers!
