SS version, clipping came in quite early on all basses, but with the American Special, it was coming in stupid early.

Which led me to use the pad.

I'm contemplating getting one of these or maybe the BVP5500.

Congratulations to The Boy. I'd prefer you to pick the pic as I'm not 100% I can enter this month. Because I'm a total genius I promised the wife i' d have the front room stairs and landing redecorated and new carpets put down by Christmas......and I'm nowhere near. I'm gonna try and enter though. Ok, here's mine!
I took inspiration from the heaviness of tank against the lightness of the pigeon. So the rhythm section is heavy, melody light. There is a bit of rock guitar versus jazzy/funky guitar. I ain't 100% happy with the mix. i think the melodies might be too loud. Hard to tell on my sh*tty speakers.
