I think this was maybe a bargain. I got my Status Trace Elliot T bass from a friend it's the 5 string deluxe model with matching headstock. Got a bit of damage to the bottom of the bass near the input Jack but it's cosmetic damage only £320.

Just wondering if anyone on this have had a brilliant bargain when buying a bass. Always hear of people getting quality instruments for next to nothing due to poor seller knowledge. Interested to hear if anyone on here have got a bargain. Pics and prices would be nice

The pickup cover is horrible. I don't know what was going through the previous owners mind.

Put new strings on the bass. First impression - ooft some output off this bass! Mids and highs are really strong, the lows are a bit muddy however... Neck is chunky but I don't notice it after about 5 mins of playing. The tone control is pretty non existant but I never really turn that down. Does the P bass hollow sound, especially when I add a bit of mids through my amp, I like it!

Passive bass as far as I can see. Pickup is nice and close to the strings. Amp is perfectly fine. Lead is fine too. (tried two leads)

Wish I didn't have to start this topic Just acquired a bass from the Bay and when plugged into an amp I need to crank the volume near enough full on my amp to get noise from the bass and not alot of noise at that. Any possible reasons why this might be? Thanks in advance, Alex
