I got one in black a couple of months from another BCer. It's a cracking instrument, a delight to play and fantastically well put together. It's currently displaced my 76 Jazz as my go to bass, which says a lot. At £650 that's a pretty keen deal too - recommended.

Would totally vouch for the playability and quality of these basses - recently bought a PM4 Supreme with block inlays. The neck is as nice and quick as my 76 jazz and the range of tones is super impressive. This sounds a very keen price too - a good deal for someone out there.

That's a very very handsome beast! My 77 USA Jazz was refinished many years ago in a green which, if all had gone to plan, would have been this just colour (minus the sparkle) - turned out a bit lighter, but I've grown to love it! If I hadn't just bought a Sandberg PM4, didn't already have a really nice Jazz and had £580 spare, I'd bite your hand off. Readers may notice that only one of the above reasons is true. Good luck!

It seems like evil bay is calling, as my recent pedal GAS has left me a bit short and I have to move this one on, or at least trade it, which I can justify to myself in some kind of GAS-driven logic! I can get anyone interested pics of the hard case that comes with it too. Any takers before the bay?[/b] I'm looking to sell my Westone Super Headless bass which I bought S/H in about 1986. It's the Walnut finish model - named the Super Headless Bass RC (X910WA) and has 2 Magnaflux RB pickups. I've barely used it since the early 90s when I moved on to Fenders. But it's a versatile sounding beast, and has a very nice slim, fast neck. Generally in excellent condition all over, bar one missing pot as you'll see from the pics and one or two dings - overall great condition for the age though. Comes with the original Westone hard case which is also in good condition. More pics available if anyone fancies a look see. Or Ampeg usual floats my boat - micro VR anyone?![/color][/b] Someone asked for some pics showing any battle scars, so I've added a couple that show a bit of the buckle rash on the back which is barely there and the only real ding which is on the back bottom edge - it's only 4-5mm across and very shallow. And you can see on the shot with the serial number where there bass has knocked into the odd guitarist on stage. Scars well earned! All in all, this is in excellent condition I'd say, the neck is pristine and a joy to play.

I picked up a PM4 Supreme from another BCer the other week and have to say that they're fantastic playable basses - highly recommended! And that's a great price too. Good luck with it!

I had one of these (factory fretless and unlined) in natural, back in the day. They're great basses. So a headless fretless bump on me - though a bit soon after your own bump admittedly...
