  1. Hi does any one have a clue how much my Gibson Artist RD is worth?
  2. ive got a gnx 3 with whammy as one of the settings but cant seem to get it to assign and cant use it ..any ideas
  3. Like icastle said "I have to say that it feels very odd trying to intentionally induce feedback after 20 years of trying to avoid it... ". I have to agree with that statement but now I want to make weird noises. How the devil would one wire one of these things up and what sort of pedals would you use. My understanding is..... bass->in-out to pedal board...Send and return goes to a flange or chorus out ->in of feedback loop and in->send of loop. is that right.....right then wheres the maplin catalouge...
  4. Hi there, he title of the thread grabbed me. I use a boss feedback /distortion pedal that I use for certain weird noises. What does this Feed back pedal do? Does it loop ins and outs to create the loop. Is there any where I could hear an audio sample???
  5. I've just started to build a new pedal board and I have a few questions. First off- I have a Diditech GNx3,boss 7 band eq, fender pt-10 tuner, boss distortion/feedback, Digitech Hyper phase, line6 chorus, morely dual bass wah, boss flange that I use all the time and a Dod envelope filter, dod bass O/D that I will eventually factor nto the board. OK ! whats the best way to wire the feckers? I use a 75P bass into a crashdown mag600 and crashdown 4x10 deep.(eventually I want either 2x 4x10 peg's or a 8x10 peg). My thoughts were GNX into the fx send and return and then Bass->Pt-10->Boss eq->boss dist/feedback->Wah->Chorus->flange then amp. I have suffered from weak wah and sh*tty weak overdrive in the past. Help. The photo is of the pedal board in design phase.
  6. Geez, #I use a Boss Feedback/distortion pedal and I use it for random noises. Usually If I want feed back I shove my bass up against the speaker grille and get it then. I see you mention feed back loops, what kit do u need to create the feedback you talk about. ta
  7. I'm open to suggestions. I used to have a bi-amped svt1540he and I miss it.Using a crashdown mag 600 and a crashdown 4x10 deep cab.
  8. Nice one and thanks for the avice.Would love to get a new pod but finances dictate I need to make the most of what i've got.I desperatley need a a svt 810-e tho. Gonna sell all my comics and all my G1 transformers and all my vynil to get one. Any idea on how much a secon hand one is.I aint bothered about my back or having a new one because after its been thrown in the van it'll look beat up.
  9. After owning a 88 stinger I have to say they are better than the new ones. I dont know the ins and outs of the £1600 models but my ray wets all over the new ones in feel and neck finish. I worked in a Music shop 5 yrs ago and all the bass boys wet their nickers over the new stingers , so I took mine in and let em loose with it (dead strings and all) they loved it. Productions values today are no where near as good as they used to be. Same can be said in pretty everything these days.
  10. Hi, I'm trying to overcomplicate a very simple concept. My rig will comprise of Ampeg 810-e,(when I get one)Bass pod, power amp. THE PLAN! Fender P bass into a bass pod- Bass pod into QSC 500watt & 4ohm per channel-into SVt 810-e (split) Top 4x10 will have p bass-Pod9model out) Boss Distortion/feedbacker-Flange-chorus-Digitech GNX3 (No amp modeling but controlling internal Distortion-Tremolo-Delay-Whammy)-Vox Wah then into bass pod. The lower 4x10 will have Di out of the pod (Clean) dod bass overdrive-DD3(30ms)-Dod envelope filter. Was thinking about a sonic maximiser just to make the bass sound nicer as i'm using a 75 p bass. Will I need signal loop splitters, thru boxes and kill switches. And I know some of you will take the P*ss ,it's inevitable. I was reading about Justin Chancellors rig and it messed with my mind.
  11. YOu know what. I can't sell it. I cant be parted from it. Although i'm a P bass bloke and I'm not a fan of pingy active basses. I love it.I cant get on with my Gibbo Artist so I think that will go.
  12. A " if my stingray had sold I would buy this box" type bump
  13. Thanks mate. It is a reluctant sale. I wouldnt be selling it if I didnt want a Ampeg amp and cab.
  14. a wednesday "i've been putting speakers up allday" bump.

  16. Nice one. Can samples be loaded into it (card etc) or does it need an external sequencer to playback samples on?//
  17. Our drummer wants to trigger samples etc. Does any one have any good ideas. I know it will require a trigger pad and some sort of brain. I know its a drummer question but I've gone down the road of samplers and footpedals to no avail. Please help.
