  Discovered that the Res-o-lites I liked are also too small for 18mm tuner holes! There is a huge gap in the market for lightweight Fender-type tuners that are a direct replacement!

  Buggering about winding aluminium tape onto the bushes, now. It's tricky and it's taking ages. Wish i hadn't started. If this doesn't work I think I may take a bus to the river and jump in.
