Well I'm going to have to try moving on my recently acquired Markbass Ninja 2x12 cab. My other cabs listed here have no interest whatsoever and I need to pay off my ever ballooning credit card bill!
800w, 8 Ohms and in excellent condition with fitted cover.
Gigged a couple of times and rehearsed with it and I was very impressed. Lightweight, compact and portable, fitted easily in the boot of my VW Passat. I'd be keeping it for sure if funds allowed.
I bought this for the absolute bargain price of 300 quid and thats what I'm asking for it. Located in St Helens, Merseyside for collection only.
'IF' my other Markbass cabs sell I'll withdraw it.
Here's the original sale thread. I'll be happy to post more pictures if required.

Up for sale is my great little Epifani UL 110. 250w 8Ohms. 11.6 Kg
Bought for home use but has been to a couple of gigs as an extension cab to my old TKs 112 I had at the time. Easily powerful enough on it's own for acoustic stuff etc.
Good overall condition. One of the bottom corner protectors is a bit damaged but it dose its job and the carpet is going a bit bobbly in places.
Collection from St Helens. Not sure on postage yet as I'm pretty low on packaging and suitable boxes. Could possibly meet up if not too far.

That was one gig to forget and move on!
A regular venue where we've had some really good gigs in the past. Always a good crowd and decent sound, but not tonight.
They have made a stage area which dose look smart but it's buggered up the sound good 'n proper. Bass sounded horrible just boom and more boom. Spent the gig fiddling with EQs and repositioning the cab but it made little difference. I used the Sandberg in the second set which sounded better but still not brilliant.
Not so many in tonight which added to the pain. Some were enjoying it but it seemed a long hard slog with plenty of mistakes thrown in as well. It's only the second time we've played with our new (and old) guitarist. He left the band earlier in the year but agreed to come back when his replacement has other music commitments. It's all a long and complicated story! So mistakes were to be expected as the set has changed quite a lot since his departure.
So overall a pretty crap gig but we know what songs to practice and focus on the next gig in a couple of weeks time.
Here's a pic of two basses, an amp and a cab.

My run of bad luck with basses continues.
My recently acquired Sandberg California wasn't going to play ball. It was fine a week or so ago when I gave it a good testing at home upon arrival, very happy indeed. Put it back in its gig bag until tonights practice.
I was really looking forward to properly using this bass with the band and planing to use it at Saturdays gig but it was not to be. The input socket was not going to accept any lead I tried so something is obviously broken and a new socket is probably needed. So I had to drive back home and get a replacement bass, my old Gibson Ripper.
Rehearsal going well until I had sudden overwhelming pain in my knackered right foot which left me hopping about and swearing like a drunken trooper! I can only imagine how funny this is going to look should these pain spasms return whilst gigging this coming Saturday!

I have to sat that the finish is superb. I loved it and IMO much nicer than a glossy lacquered finish from the factory.
When I received the bass it was obvious that something wasn't right. I took it to the tech I use for his opinion. He got back to me saying that the neck would need clamping, frets levelling and possibly steaming. The fretwork as mentioned is very good otherwise.
I sadly couldn't afford to get the work done, I really had to push the boat out to buy it in the first place. So even if (and don't think you would) spent 300 quid on it to get it right, it's still a great price for a Stingray. And at 4.1 Kg, it's no boat anchor either.

Would possibly trade one of them for a Mark bassTraveler 121H or NY1x12 cab.

We have a wedding gig in August and I'm already dreading it!

Last year my foot got trapped under a forklift truck which fractured it in 6 places. It also did loads of damage to the ligaments. I had the metalwork removed 4 weeks ago and I'm still hobbling around a bit as it's not fully healed up yet.
I had to rehearse and gig sitting down with my foot (in a cast) on a chair which was a bit awkward but it was doable. I couldn't carry a single thing as I was on two crutches so bandmates and my poor Mrs did all the work, even setting up my rig. Upside was that I couldn't drive so I enjoyed a few pints!

Whats the best way to clean beer out of a mixing desk?
Probably says enough about how our gig went last night! 🙄
Our guitarist will need to give his pedalboard a good clean as well. This is not the first time we've had 'problems' at this venue so I'm going to suggest that we cancel the remaining gigs we have there. It's really not worth the hassle.

I genuinely hope he's ok. Never had any contact myself but I've been lucky enough to have owned a few different combos of his. All being excellent and a credit to himself.

You're joking! If I'd have known you were going to sell this...
Just bought a beautiful German one so I'm all spent out. I've played this very bass folks and it is splendid in every way!

Selling my two Markbass Energy 2x10 cabs. These are the super lightweight cabs weighing only 11Kgs. Both 8 Ohm 400w. Both in excellent condition, one having a cover.
I've rehearsed and gigged using both cabs which in some venues may have been a little overkill but I don't like pushing speakers too hard. They give out a surprisingly 'big' sound and I've usually rolled of the bass a little. I like them a lot and being so light has been a huge help to me due to my knackered foot!
But I need to free up some cash as I'm still not able to work full time. The opportunity to get a single cab solution at a great price was too good to pass on so I need to find them a new home.
Priced as a pair but I'm happy to sell individually.
Cab with cover - £310 (first 6 pictures)
Cab without cover £280 (pics 7-12)
No offers or trades please. These are priced a fair bit lower than what I paid for them
Collection or meet if not too far. I don't have any suitable boxes or packaging for shipping.

Back up for sale

Up for grabs is my Electra VS4. Great bass and I'll be sorry to see it go but needs must.
Superb quality and in great shape. Theres a tiny dink on the back of the body that I've tried to photo. Other than that its spot on.
It weighs only 8Lbs 3oz (why I bought it) and very gig friendly. It really is an amazing bass for the money.
I can ship of around £25 and I'm sure I have a gig bag up in the loft that I'll put it in. Collection welcome and I can meet up if not too far.

Reluctantly going to have to part with some gear. Not being able to return to full time work anytime soon forces the sale 😪
So up for grabs is my 2022 non reverse Thunderbird in Inverness green. Excellent condition with only the chip to the bottom of the bass which I did. It is a Gibson demo bass as stamped on the back of the headstock. I compared it to my other non reverse I had and there's no difference at all. The only possible imperfection is a small indent on the back of the headstock where its stamped made in USA. Other than that its spot on.
I kept this one as it was the lightest weighing in at 8Lbs 7oz making it very gig friendly and to my ears better sounding to my other Birds.
The bass comes with its Gibson fitted hard case. I should be able to ship the bass to UK for about £35 but due to the length of the case finding a suitable box is a bit tricky. Collection and trial very welcome or a can meet up if not too far. I'm not really after any trades thanks as I'm seriously going to need the cash sadly.

I found a used 4 string set of double ball end strings in an old gig bag. No idea of make and all I can tell you is they're all 34" long and of lightish gauge.
Absolutely no use to me!

G&L is a great choice, especially funky silver sparkle ones eh? @80Hz 😜
MarkBass do some great affordable amps, cabs and combos which offer plenty of power and sound quality. I hear Fender Rumble are great too although I've never tried one. Loads of good gear out there. Keep your eye on the classifieds here.

I thought about this on the way back home and if I had to pick 3 basses that flicked my switch from this afternoon I think I'd narrow it down to the Yamaha BB1200, G&L silver sparkle Jazz Bass and the 73 Precision.

It was good to meet you today. and the big surprise for me was how much I loved your Gibson Ripper! I've never played one before.
Rob
Great to meet you too and put a face to the name and my love for old Fenders has been thoroughly reignited! Glad you liked the Ripper, not everyones cup of tea but I too was surprised with them the first time I played one.
