[/quote] Correct It's the passive model but you really wouldn't believe the output from those pups - seriously loud and the 4-way pup control (bridge, parallel, series, neck) combined wight he tone control gives you a huge array of sounds.

The name Dingwall and fan-frets have become synonymous but you should also include quality, tonal range, lightweight and playability to the name.

Phenomenal sounds from a lightweight bass - 3.5kg (7.7lbs). The bass comes with Marleaux semi-hard case, tools and [/font][/color][font=arial, sans-serif][color=#444444]certificate. The bass has never been gigged and only played for a couple of hours at home. The bass is in perfect condition.[/color][/font][/size]

I suspect that as Bass Direct are retailers and the Bass Barn had the basses on a 'display only' basis, it is easier for for Jon to let Mark handle the finance side. However, Jon must be losing a fair wedge in commission?

I have to agree with Molan's sentiments above about naming those luthiers who do what they promise. Although I do understand the desire to name and shame, I much prefer the 'Name and Fame' approach. In other words, celebrate those who do what they promise to do. Surely, those luthiers with frequent mentions will attract further custom and so on. However, and here is the rub, almost all of the luthiers are very small businesses with an obvious limit to their time. The more they go out to promote the less build time and, unfortunately, delays. I would really like to encourage players to help in a positive manner and, if they are genuinely happy/thrilled/ecstatic then say so - often! I have no problem in praising the work and commitment of ACG, Ritter, and Marleaux - hopefully add Douglas at Eve to that list too. The more promotion we do for these luthiers the less time they have to go out and promote themselves. Although, I also have to agree that, at times, a name and shame is necessary. Could I suggest that before anyone parts with any amount of folding money that they post a query in the appropriate forum? Any reply doesn't have to be public but simply a PM - unless you really feel that strongly C'mon folks, praise where praise is due... -

Yup, another Line 6 effects pedal! This one was bought for live use - used once and never used again, apart from the occasional effects twiddle at home. You know what these pedals do and sound like so here's a review to get some other opinions:

As part of my general clear-out of stuff I'm not using, here's a mint Line 6 Bass Floor Pod. I've used it only at home for a couple of hours in total. It has sat in its box for too long and wants to go out and play I'm asking £50 plus postage - comes in the original box. -

Hmm, this has now become my 'yoyo' bass I have listed it twice and just as quickly withdrawn it! It is, in all honesty, a gorgeous bass in every aspect. I love playing this MBass but, and this is the real issue for me, it weighs 4.3kg (9.10lbs). It's a dream to play sitting down but to use for a long session tends to aggravate a long-stadning problem I have with my neck. I have never gigged the bass but it has been used for one, long, studio session. I am the original owner and the bass comes with a hard case, paperwork and tools.

After reading - numerous times - the articles on Eve basses in the Bass Magazine, I decided to fling a few hundred questions to Douglas Mullins of Eve bass. Credit to Douglas, he answered each and every question fully and explained his choice of woods, electronics and overall construction.
