1. Continuing my general sort out and rearrangement of my effects, I have the superb Lehle Basswitch available. I bought this recently for use in my home studio but, to be honest, it is really best for live work. Below is a review of the unit and a YouTube link. A really great piece of kit that requires a good home. Comes with the manual, carry case etc.
 2.
AFAIK there is still at least one Letts thread running in the Affiliates section. The other thread here was just starting to look like a man in the stocks being pelted with rotten fruit. The right decision was made IMHO.
Totally agree. Whilst I agree that it is only right and proper to share concerns and alert fellow BC members to the situation you only need a few comments to make the point. The endless and repetitive negative comments do little to alleviate the situation - a bit like continuing to hammer home the point when the nail has long since disappeared. Letts have personal issues - OK, but they are now a company with all their details available through Comany's House. Deal direct with the company, get things in writing, involve a solicitor in necessary but continually adding comments to a thread is doing nothing whatsoever to find some resolution to the problem. BC is a great forum for alerting members' to both good and bad companies and products. Letts now have a long way to go to repair their reputation and, obviously, many BC'ers will not be ordering a bass from them in the foreseeable future, which may be quite a good thing allowing Letts to get on with their back orders.
 3. I have had several covers made for me by Jenart. Each and every time has been an easy and straightforward deal. The onus is on you to make certain that your measurements are correct (the old adage, measurement twice cut once) but in every instance Chris at Jenart has been really helpful, offering advice where necessary and always providing a top notch service. I can't fault the company or their products, particularly when you see some of the absolutely ridiculous prices charged by brands such as Markbass, Aguilar etc, for products that are in most respects inferior to what Jenart produce. The only downside is that you don't get the brand logo of your particular amp/cab stencilled onto the cover - what a shame
 4. Hmm, how about something a little esoteric as in a 'Volute' of bass players? Or a 'Bridge', 'a saddle of...' or given the sheer amount of gear shifted over the years, how about a 'Truss (rod) of bass players'?
 5. Details: TC Electronic Nova Modulator houses two brand new effects plus all of TC’s acclaimed modulation effects, and its dual engine design allows for endless combinations to inspire creativity. Nova Modulator offers seven studio quality modulation effects; chorus, the new tri-chorus, flanger, the new through-zero-flanger, phaser, tremolo, and an upgraded vibrato. The chorus, flanger, phaser, and tremolo effects are taken straight from TC’s acclaimed G-System. The new tri-chorus effect uses three stereo choruses with various offsets for depth, speed, phaser and chorus delay time to produce a unique, broad and lush chorus sound. The new through-zero-flanger reproduces the classic tape flanging sounds of the 60s and 70s, and the upgraded vibrato features a new ramp that allows the user to fade in the effect. The two identical effect engines allow the user to combine two different modulation effects or to combine two identical algorithms for a more extreme and pronounced effect. The LFO synchronization ensures that the two engines are synchronized in time, and the new LFO trigger makes the effect start right on the beat when activating the pedal. For preset control there is one manual setting that always outputs the current position of the knobs and buttons, as well as nine storable presets. Other great Nova Modulation features include tap tempo, auto input gain adjustment and stereo in/out. 7. A very poor showing on Roqsolid's part. I have to agree with some of the above comments that their covers are very, very basic and do little more than keep off the dust and a spot or two of rain. I always use Jenart (http://www.jenart.com/frames.html). Chris at Jenart is a super guy and his prices are really competitive. For example, approx £25 for a Markbass CMD121P combo cover 20mm padding. Jenart have made quite a few covers for me - usually from my measurements, always to the agreed spec and I have never had an issue of any kind. Usually a quick turnaround and the covers have always fitted first time. I can't recommend the enough. No, I'm not on commission
 8. I now have a hard case (Hiscox) for the Probass should that be preferable to a gig bag.
 9. Price drop to £850 or very near offer. It's in the first post written in purple ;0)))
 10. Something for the weekend? Now £750 !!
 11. Here's a review of the Probass: http://evebass.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/bass-review.html And a great interview with the Eve creator: http://blog.reddogmusic.co.uk/2012/03/05/eve-guitars-an-interview-with-douglas-mullen/ Still for sale btw
 12. Details: The Pedaltrain 1 is still relatively compact but big enough for 8 or so Boss sized pedals plus a wah/volume pedal. The hard case offers more protection than Pedaltrain's soft cases while being a lot lighter than a Flight Case (Please note the Pedaltrain 1 is only available with this case, there is no option for a soft case or flight case). Features

Board Width: 22 inches
Board Depth: 12.5 inches
Case Type: Hard Case
Board Weight: 1.3kg
Case Weight: 4kg
Combined Weight: 5.3kg
Mounting Bracket for Voodoo Lab Power Supplies included
Velcro included
Pedal Train pedalboards are one of, if not the most popular pedal boards ont he planet. That's mostly down to the innovative design: whereas with many pedal boards all of the tangle of cables has to be routed around the pedal and can become a complete mess, the Pedal Train is elevated with wide gaps that allow you to run the cabling underneath the pedals, leaving you with a gorgeous pedalboard to be proud of! The sturdy metal construction is well designed with reinforced strips that can withstand an impressive amount of weight without ever buckling, perfect for something you'll be stamping on for years and years to come! Mounting a power supply Mounting a powersupply underneath the board is a common way to free up more space for pedals. The included brackets (not included with Pedaltrain Nano or Mini) allow you to mount any Voodoo Lab or Pedaltrain power supply. All you need to do is drill a few holes (which allows you mount it exactly where you want it). Many other powersupplys offer their own official mounting brackets too!
 13. To move the bass quickly, I'll offer to include shipping to mainland UK within the £800 price. If you pay the shipping I'll include a Hiscox hard case. Bargain
 14. An impressive TTT Eve bass...
 15. Ed bought my Cazpar bass and the while process was a breeze. A great guy to deal with and a wholehearted recommendation from me!
 16.
Hi what size are these? Umm hole size ...... Please
Ah, yes, umm, hole size - good point! Well, the collar that goes through the headstock - and screws onto the main tuner - is 12mm in diameter (that's the external size, which is the actual hole size if that makes sense!!). Hope that helps.
 17.
gorgeous! I had a play on Eve Pro at the LBS this year. If this was only fretless ...
Fretless? I'll include a pair of pliers for free. I seem to recall some obscure American guy pulled the frets on his Jazz and made good with some wood filler - name escapes me though (of the guy not the wood filler)
 18. The Probass is a solid mahogany body and neck with a wedge fingerboard. It's a 33" scale with Eve Humbuckers (push/pull series & parallel mode) with a 2-band active gain system. The range of sounds are superb and the neck is a delight to play, slim and smooth with rich harmonics. More details at: http://www.eveguitars.co.uk
 19.
Is it EADGC?
Yes, although the bass was designed for a B-G set-up. Simple to return to B-G with a couple of tweaks, and new strings of course
 20.
Beautiful!!! WhAts the scale length please??? Dave
Scale length is.... 31" !! A delight to play.
