Thanks for the comments guys, yeah it must be a NS cos on the Spector web page says the performers are passive and this one uses 9V battery. Bump for price update, now £170 with a good state hard case, or £155 without it. Will deliver in London for an extra 5er. Also accepting trade offers for a decent power amp, 2x600W @4oHm or greater. It is 5.2 oHm mate, due to having 3 speakers. Amplifier would see it close to 4 oHm. Basically if you have an amp that does 500W into 4oHm and 300W into 8oHm, with this cab it's probably gonna do something like 450watt. I've used it with my littlemark2 and have never run out of power. Hope that helps. Steff

I bought this bass two weeks ago on Ebay thinking it'll be a good idea to switch to lightweight for some gigs but I realised I'm missing so much my stingray sound and I won't play it much so here it goes... Aria Sinsonido silent bass Weight around 1.8kg! Not sure about the pickups, aria site says built-in microphone, some people say piezo.... I have it strung with used Elixirs, but it should be used with flats. no major marks or scratches, however it isn't a brand new bass. Good condition. I bought it without the metal skeleton bits, but to be honest I prefer it that way. Looks cooler Comes with a gig bag and original (I guess) truss rod alan key. £198 is what it costed me, that's what I am looking for ideally. I'm open to sensible offers. Trades accepted: Onboard bass pre - Aguilar, Audere, J East 70's fender jazz maple neck Try me I am based in NW London, can deliver within reasonable distance, or unreasonable for petrol costs . 07889264587 Steff Please text me instead of calling as the reception in my house is awful. I've decided to sell my Spector as I've only played it twice since I bought it last year. It is in a great state, no marks, no scratches. Strung with 45-105 stainless steel Elixirs. I believe it is the NS line (correct me if I'm wrong), bolt-on neck, EMG-HZ pick-ups, 9v preamp. Made in Korea. Serial number 4000. Plays well and it sounds great with deep and warm lows and crisp highs. Selling it because although I currently have 5 basses, I'm only playing 2 of them... £170 Sensible offers accepted. Trades accepted with cash your way: EBS TDS650 Ampeg SVT IIp preamp 70's fender jazz maple neck 70's fender jazz pick-ups Lightweight 4x10 or similar cabs Try me I am based in NW London, will not post. Can meet within reasonable distance or I can deliver for petrol costs. 07889264587 Steff Please text instead of calling as my reception at home is awful. SOLD! EDIT - had a sudden GAS for Schroeders, so now both my Epis are for sale. The UL1 is in gigged condition but no major marks or tears. Amazing cabs, the UL2 is slightly heavier. Buy both and I'll throw in a brand new original speaker, never used. Or trades for Schroeder 21012/410, or whatever Schro you got (gotta be 4x10 size though) I've decided to sell my spare UL310 S2 as I had it for 2 years and I've barely played it. Bought it on here and used it for 4-5 gigs stacked with my other one when I needed more power. The cab is in a very good nick, the speakers have hardly seen any use. However there's some visual flaws which I've tried to show on the photos. The two top back plastic corners are broken and need to be replaced (I'm sure that'll be less than a tenner on Ebay), and there's this mark at the back where a piece of the coating has been thorn (as seen on the photo). That can't be seen from the front and has never bothered me so I left it that way (that's how I got it, not sure if it was sent that way or it got damaged during shipping). It also comes with a cover (also some marks and a tear which can be seen on the photos). Price would be £400 each/£750 both. As I've said the cab has been hardly used and apart from the flaws listed above it's clearly visible it is in a very good state. Trades accepted (cash my way or yours): Other lightweight cabs of the same value or higher I wouldn't mind a Schroeder 21012 EBS TDS650 (+cash your way) Might be interested in other stuff, try me. I am based in west London, could meet within reasonable distance or deliver for petrol costs. Steff

Hi everyone, I've got a Laney nexus tube head for sale, it's been sitting in the corner for quite a while now and it's a shame really cos it's a very good amp. https://www.laney.co...uct_details/111 Photos available on request. The amp needs a bit of work hence the price. The valves are old and need to be replaced. On the last gig I used it, two of the valves blew their fuses so it's currently running on 6 valves. This is a valve issue and once revalved, it'll run nice and smooth as it used to. The tube preamp pot is crackling a bit which I guess can be easily solved with contact spray. I just never did it as I have probably done 5 gigs with it for the last 2 years, because of the weight. The revalve will cost you probably about £180 for valves if you do it yourself. It is a great amp, very versatile and looks mean too, it's just too heavy to be gigged 3-4 nights per week... That's why I'm only using my littlemark lately. Beautiful tone and 400Watt of valve power... Comes with a Silverstone cover worth £45 and the original foot switch Trades accepted (cash your way or mine, I don't mind) EBS TD650 other lightweight amps Ampeg SVT IIp preamp 2x12 or 4x10 lightweight cab edit for more trade options: pair of genuine 70's fender jazz pickups 70's fender jazz maple neck try me I'm based in London, would meet halfway or I could deliver if we split petrol expenses.

Nordstrand MM5.2 for trade for 5.3
Steff replied to Steff's topic in Accessories & Other Musically Related Items For Sale

Hello fellow basschaters, I just bought a Nord MM5.2 from here as a replacement to my stock musicman stingray5 pickup. It turns out the right replacement for me is 5.3, as the 5.2 doesnt have the additional coil at the bottom. I've managed to wire it (thanks basschat!) and it sounds awesome, however I can only get the series and parallel positions, the single coil isn't working properly due to the different wiring and the missing extra coil The pickup is nearly new, comes with the original box and wiring diagram. So if anyone has a 5.3 and is looking for a 5.2, please get in touch. I will also consider buying a 5.3 if anyone has one for sale Steff

SOLD - Stagg EUB Electric Upright 3/4 - Price drop to £160
Steff replied to s_u_y_*'s topic in EUBs & Double Basses For Sale

Well when I play my stingray5 I usually dial a bit of bass, mids and highs from the bass eq and just a little bit more bottom from the amp, but my jazz I definitely need to boost a few more frequencies from the amp but that's the thing with this amp, there's plenty of options as it has such a big eq - lows, highs, presence, parametric low mid and high mid and on top of all that a 7 graphic eq... very very versatile I'd say.

I got one, wouldn't say the build quality is poor... Gigged it for quite a while now, it really feels built like a tank. Powers up my two Epi cabs quite nicely might consider selling it soon tho, just too heavy for 4 gigs/week... Actually I've been considering that a few times already but then I take it at a gig and after I play it, all the selling thoughts are gone lol...

I am offering one of mine or both amps for a EBS TD650 as I have 2 epifani 3x10 cabs and need an amp that does 2 ohm. The Laney does it and sounds sweet but it's too heavy to use 3-4 nights a week and that's why I am looking for something lighter. Cash adjustments accepted either way Markbass LittleMark II - got it a year and a half ago, done many gigs with it, only failed me once and it was the preamp which I've replaced with a new one that costed me £150. A few marks here and there, but in a great working shape. I'd say £300 value. Can email photos if needed but I am sure we all know about those little workhorses (or work ponies maybe? . Laney Nexus tube 400 - 400watt valve monster with switchable valve/solid state preamp (both can be used at the same time too). Works great but indicates 2 of the end tubes need to be replaced, I'd recommend a full re-valve anyway. I've had it for 2 years and haven't gigged it much cos it is about 40kg... Sounds sweet and has a parametric as well as graphic eq, compressor and all that... £550 and comes with a Silverstone case. That goes for a straight sale too cos it's now been in the corner for a year and it breaks my heart to seeing it unused but at least it doesn't break my back. I'd consider offers for another Markbass too, or any other amp if there's one that goes down to 2oHm in order to drive my two 310 epis (5.2 ohm each). Lightweight please. Only heavyweight amp I'd consider is a Mesa 400+. London, local pick-up only. 07889264587 Steff
