....ON HOLD....
Plugged it last week after not playing it for a while and it sounds like the humbucker is faulty. Its with a tech now being sorted, but I can't sell the bass knowing its not 100% working correctly. I will update once its perfect again.
Thx -

Sorry to see this go, but a new baby equals bass sales so I'm freeing some of the flock. My Yamaha BB1025X. Its basically brand new. Bought it for a project that never happened, its been taken to rehearsal rooms twice, never left the lounge other than that. I have a Hipshot Xtender on 2 of my 4 strings so I have no real need for this anymore. I have a BB1024X which I'm never selling, these are amazing basses, probably plays better than my Sadowsky....
Model: BB1025X
Construction: Bolt-On
Scale Length: 34” (863.6mm)
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Radius: 23 5/8” (600mm)
Frets: 21
Body: Alder (Spline Joint)
Neck: Maple and Mahogany 5pcs (Quarter Sawn)
Nut: Nickel Silver Nut
Bridge: Vintage Plus (Brass Saddle, Steel Plate)
Pickups: Front - Split Blade (Alnico V), Rear - Single Blade (Ceramic)
Pickup Switch: 3P-Toggle Switch
Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone
Gig Bag: Included
I'd prefer collection, I just don't trust the mail service anymore.
No trades unless you have a Bianchi Oltre XR4 55cm or a Sandberg TM4 Black & Rosewood HCA.

I had a Dusty Tribute and was ALWAYS mystified, that tuning the G string nowt happened. Them fun upside down tuners .
Steve, THAT LOOKS FABULOUS
It looks like one of my Oranges is going, so may well be having a chat if it's still here next week.
Unlikely

Thanks Karl. If it is still here next week.... -

Don't suppose there are any soundclips, even basic ones?
[/quote] Afraid I don't have any... let me see if I can hook something up tonight. -

Sorry to see this go, but a new baby equals bass sales so I'm freeing some of the flock.
I am going to kick myself for this but here goes. My beautiful Sandberg California VM. Yeah, its the lovely previous series before the body and scratchplate change. As you can see in the pics it has 2 scratchplates, a black and a tortoiseshell so you can switch it up for whatever you fancy. When I bought the black one they told me that it was the very last scratchplate made in the old style so there will never be any more of these made.
The previous owner swapped out the Sandberg tuners for lightweights, which has left screw holes in the back of the headstock. Normally that would put me off, but seeing as this is so beautifully aged it just adds to the look.
Fully plek'd neck, plays like a dream, light as a feather. Almost identical to the original Ida Neilsen model. Maybe don't buy it actually, I'm regretting this already just typing the advert up..
Will come with a no-name gig bag.
No trades unless you have a Bianchi Oltre XR4 55cm
I'd prefer collection/handover as I don't trust shipping.

If you still can't see them I can email you with pics

Sorry to see this go, but a new baby equals bass sales so I'm freeing some of the flock.
Limelight Precision I had made by Mark last year, very non-standard, a bit of a departure from his regular line.
Features:
Twin humbuckers
Jazz profile neck
Painted headstock
Passive electronics
Reverse headstock
Beautifully aged
Come with brand new Thomann hard case, never been used as I use a Mono Dual for all gigs.
No trades unless you have a Bianchi Oltre XR4 55cm

Sadowsky MV4 - £1500 (typed in the wrong price in the header and now it won't change it, definitely £1500)
Sorry to see this go, but a new baby equals bass sales so I'm freeing some of the flock.
Sadowsky MV4 with a stunning maple neck and fretboard. Immaculate black finish. Comes with a spare tortoiseshell scratchplate in case you don't fancy the black one.
Come with Sadowsky semi-hard case.
No trades unless you have a Bianchi Oltre XR4 55cm
I'd prefer collection, I just don't trust the mail service anymore.

This one above that I'm using weighs next to nothing and still has the tonal variety of the heavy monsters.
