I've got an Atom on order from Andertons since April but it's been delayed til the end of this month. Hopefully it arrives on time as my band has a pretty big gig in July 🤞

Looks like gigrig are despatching 10th July. Hopefully Anderson's have some on order being fulfilled before then...

Stop making me want an atom

...they're bloody good....easy midi...parralel blending, stompbox modes..two amps...tuner...massively intuitive. Really ace kit. Defo worth a look with your board, or it's big brother and the team are really supportive ✌️

Always curious when I see a board like this. What kind of music do you play with this?

Probably not what you'd expect tbh... I'm in a doom band but we use quite a lot of dynamics so my board has become pretty hefty for some of what we do but the h9 also gives me a bit of scope to mess with phasers, dual delays, subs, was etc that does a nice job.

Band is here in case you're interested ✌️ https://open.spotify.com/album/3Nh8taOCUVkvj9YY2syNkd?si=uJgUc6JhTuSsp7yfEvXUPw&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A3Nh8taOCUVkvj9YY2syNkd

  4. Hi all, re-evaluated my rig and I've decided to let this one go as well (Laney under separate listing, excludes flightcase).

Switchable 4-12 ohm, black grill installed, separate silver grill comes with it (happy to provide detailed pictures as it's been off the cab for a few years).

It's experienced the standard tolex peel which I elected to cover over with black gaffa tape (I can remove prior of preferred).

Any questions drop me a line. Collection preferred or meet between Kettering/Stevenage....Bedford...even blackbushe... Thanks ✌️

  6. Great condition mixer for podcasts or bands. Really easy to use and delivers great results. Comes with original docs and power cable.

Collection preferred, but could post subject to costs. I get to Stevenage weekly and based near wellingborough/Kettering.

Any questions let me know, I'm just not using it anymore to warrant holding on to it. Thanks.

  7. 500 watts, 4 ohms, classic rock to dub tones. Great head, well styled, nicely laid out and light as you like. Still tagged. Used 3-4 times at rehearsal and a few times at home. I'm very much in a heavy weight amp period of my life and need some cash to put towards the band.

Price is collected. No postage. I get to blackbushe evey now and then, and Stevenage weekly. Based near wellingborough.

Any questions let me know, thanks very much,

  9. Hi all,

Decided to amend my set up a bit and on the look out for a steel grill Barefaced 410 (8 ohm)....

So I'm now looking to sell two of my retro 210S' with black grills - £475 per cab.

Switchable between 4 and 12 ohms (8 ohms when run in parallel on 12ohm setting), tolex is the current iteration (no peeling) and they come with black dust jacket covers.

Both are in great condition as pictured, one has a small graze to the Barefaced badge which I've zoomed in on.

The modular set up provides great flexibility as standalone or pair....horizontal or vertical set up.

I'd be happy trading with a Barefaced 410 with cash my way.

I travel between Kettering and stevenage regularly, I'm down to blackbushe early June. I won't be posting these as I don't have the packaging required.

Any questions let me know, hopefully enough pics below. Thanks ✌️

  10. Hi all,

I'm after some recommendations for a home use multieffect please for jamming on. I've had a read around lots of options and.....found myself a bit bewildered by what may be the best option for me.

Here's a bit of a breakdown of what I'm after in an ideal world:

    - home use multi effect unit that comes with its own PSU. I'll be running it into an origin bassrig, and a home studio monitor

    - modulation, delay, reverb ideally a few flavours of each - anything else is a bonus but not essential. I want to be able to get pretty ambient

    - more than one effect on at a time, minimum of 2 but not necessarily fancy parallel blending etc

    - tuner inbuilt is required

    - looking at a budget of under £200. Happy to go used

    - simple user interface. Id prefer twistable knobs but very simple digital UI would be fine.

    - DI, stereo options, effects loop etc not required.

I think that's about it....I've looked at plethora x3 and line 6 M9 as possible front runners but think I've missed loads of options from zoom mooer...other manufacturers I've never considered.

    Thanks!

    ✌️

  11. Added the 410 today. I need do a test load in my car but I'm pretty sure it all fits for those times when you just want a little bit of edge in a venue. It provides me with a lot of flexibility in set up. Pretty excited to find a venue I can put it all at now....but I'll definitely be practicing with it all over the next few weeks. ✌️🧙‍♂️

LOL, I remember Alex having a pop at me about requiring more than one cab... yet here we are. I love that Matamp!

Ha! Gotta love an engineering viewpoint :) cheers, it really is a killer head.

The Digbeth 500 head looks awesome, was watching the Andertons review and it sounded great.

I got it B stock from Andertons at a really good price. Pristine. I've had a few micro/class d heads over the years and this has really surprised me. It carries a decent amount of authority, the styling is beautiful, tones are really solid and there's some cool features like headphone out which is great. Big tick to Laney from me. ✌️

  13. I picked up a Laney digbeth just before the weekend. Thought I'd try a light weight option again. Sounded really really good...and there's no glass in it....full transistor. I like the interface on the front after a bit of getting used to it and it just delivers a lovely old school bass sound but can get really low. So in summary....more options now but the matamp still has the edge :)

  14. So I'm selling a few pedals and I guess you could say that they're pretty sweet.

    MERIS MERCURY 7: £235

An absolutely wonderful, ethereal, cinematic experience in a pedal. Probably the best reverb pedal I've had the pleasure of playing and it's a reluctant sale. Two incredible algorithms, midi capable and a huge stereo capability. Unboxed but will be very  well packaged. Velcro on underside.

Here's a pretty sweet video of it in action:

    https://youtu.be/SAag8PAF3tQ

    Sold - BOSS CHORUS ENSEMBLE CE-5: £55

Super awesome chorus pedal that can dial in some nice 80s vibes and lush, rich tones. I haven't played many choruses and pretty carefully purchased this one and instantly clicked with it. I use my h9 now but I prefer this, but it's not boarded so letting it go. Comes with box. Pristine condition.

    Sold - TC ELECTRONICS 3rd DIMENSION: £30

Alternative to the boss dimension C at a waaaaaay better price and a small difference on tone. I used it for a short time then wanted full chorus but this offers a really cool flavour.  Pristine, feet on bottom. Comes with box.

Prices include postage. Shout me with any questions, I get to Bedford/ Stevenage pretty regularly if a handovers preferred.

    Pics now below!

    Cheers 😎✌️

Not sure if this counts as a small board, but it's clearly too small for the pedals on it so I'm going with that! 😬

I've been around the houses lately with this; been through a Sansamp VTDI, then an HX stomp in place of the Le Bass, and a Diabolik in place of the Sovtek. I also had an optocomp at the front of the chain.

I Found the low end on the sansamp to be bloated and unrefined.

I then found that I was shoehorning in effects and over complicating things because I could with the HX stomp and was never truly convinced against analogue counterparts (it couldn't even kick my hot wax off my board).

I also just didn't like the flavour that the optocomp added.

Reasons for losing the Diabolik were I just couldn't get it to retain low end (despite general consensus of huge low end retention) unless I had so much clean dialled in that it no longer sounded synthy.  I suspect it just didn't get along with my basses though.

The Le Bass is a fantastic pre, which I'm using as an always on sweetner, and fusion mode for a dirtier rock tone. Struggle to get A, B, and A+B all matched for use at the same time, but A and A+B are worth the cost of admission.

The Sovtek is a hugely versatile muff with clean blend, and whilst not as synthy as I'd like, with the sweepable mids get me somewhere into that realm...

I think you just purchased the two-notes off me? Nice board ✌️
