  5. Those stripy outfits make the poor cows hips look big? I used the Harley Davison TB-70 for this. It has a clean preamp and some heavy gauge strings, uh hu. Run into the POD VST amp model. then a bit of top end into some modulation to widen it. Made a synth kick drum and used a hat loop and midi samples. Made an ambient sound with a cow, and added the cries of distressed cattle. Added some synths, then grilled a rump steak for 10 minuets each side, served with chips.
  6. Hmm, bag pipes and cow bell this time? 🤩
  7. I will Survive - Gloria Gaynor
  8. Bend Me, Shape Me - Amen Corner (had to look that up)
  9. Flowers - Miley Cyrus (Fun bass line)
  10. @funkgod Good to hear you got a working set in the end. I wear glasses and if I put the ear pads over the arms I lose all the bass. I have to hook my glasses over the headphone at massive angle. then my eyelashes wipe the lenses and make them blurry. Doh. Happy mixing and monitoring.
  11. Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead
  12. They roll off the very low end so I agree. What they are good for is detail and, for me, I like their clinical response, they really let you know if something is a bit harsh in the highs. What they do well is fit comfortably, and don't leak too much sound to the mic when recording singers. Which headphone would you use for mixing?
  13. I have 770's. There're Ok. I used to use DT100. They sound different. I find it difficult to mix on headphones alone. Lucky you got to compare them. Hope the replacements are good.
  14. Meant to acknowledge Scottish and Irish in praise of them producing the best Whiskey in the world, to the infectious beat of a jig. Celebrate greatness, was my aim, and swoop first prize too.
  15. After a few whiskeys, I like to dance. Lead instrument - Cork Hill performed by Jeff Campbell https://youtu.be/ExhqsLG80ZU?list=RDExhqsLG80ZU Drums - samples plus some 'big drums' made with filtered white noise with NI MASSIVE. Bass - Spector into Ignite Amps SHB-1 bass amp VST (excellent free bass amp VST) And that's all.
  16. Charles B inspired me that learning bass would be fun, also highlighting in his videos just how easy it really is, so I bought a bass and started playing it. Wasn't long before I could play all four parts of any arrangement at once as well.
