  1. Being an L2 owner myself, I can vouch for the quality and playability of James' (Landing owner) shorties. And with gorgeous looks to boot. Actually Will, I much prefer yours than mine (it's the rosewood neck you see) The price......... man, that's a steal. But you are creating a low-price market precedence.... .....
  2. In my short scales (a Landing L2 -although wears medium since it's string through - & a Dean XM) I 've been through Thomastik JF324, Daddario Chromes and GHS 3020. With that order of preference. None of them was bad or below par though. I was thinking for Rotosound. But I am having a break from flats at the moment. As for the issue of regular strings in short basses, JLP is absolutely right.
  3. In terms of quality / price ratio (although always subjective) in hollowbody's, I don't think that there is a better deal out there than the Ibanez AGB-200. And the produced sound, more than decent. Not for all tastes though.
