Apparently there are folks who offer parts kits too... all will be revealed once I get access to the users' forum.
Oooof! Got the PCB and reading the instructions. I may well have bitten off more than I can chew. :)

Still, I have two more projects on which to improve my skills with the iron before I come to this one!!!

  2.
Just finished my third build, a BYOC digi delay with ping pong. Sounds great, almost analogue sounding with quite dark repeats.
Excellent. What's it a clone of?

  3.
brought this the week before last from a basschatter, cracking bi-amp in a box pedal.only been available for a few weeks..

absolutely mint condition.£159 new.. asking what i paid : £120 incl p&p but am open to trades etc
Are you looking for a tuner, perchance? px?

  4.
that's a B size you got there I think, twice as big as A :)
Maybe so - but 5 jacks, two LEDs, one PSU socket, one 3PDT, one 4PDT, one DP3T and one DPDT....

  5.
as note, be carefull with those enclosures because there's not much you can fit in there tbh!
I am familiar with this problem!

  6.
I got them from musikding.de but they don't sell them anymore but now you can get them here http://www.banzaimusic.com/Eddystone-enclosure-A.html
Ta!

  7.
My latest efforts, no gutshots because I forgot to take them and the effects are with their new owner now, fuzz face and signal booster both in A size enclosures.

Very very nice. Where do you get the enclosures?

  8.
There are dozens! Pretty much every small detail is a case of almost-but-not-quite right.

If anyone's remotely intertested I might do a list tomorrow when I'm a bit less bleary-eyed.

EDIT: Actually this is even faker than I thought - with the exception of the headstock shot, all of the pics are renders:

    http://raykit.co.uk/blog/2009/07/04/3d-bass-guitar/

    Bloody hell. :)

    J.
Is it even real????

  9.
An erm, interesting fretless example, apparently by Slovenian master luthier Ignac Zaletelj:

That John Shuker, he must be sweating... :)

    Removed.

  10.
nice, be sure to let us know how it goes! lots of pics are a must :)

I am considering doing the same at some point so would be very interested in this project.
Yeah. You'll have to be patient though.... I have a few things on my plate first.

  11.
Weirdly, I just came across that the other day, and was wondering the same thing lol. I like the idea of it, anyway. Apparently it's a bit different to the version that he makes however, but then it's also much cheaper. I think someone here should build/buy one (I would but i'm too poor), they could be the next big thing! :)
12.
That's a beautiful thing.

Just noticed that Rock Factory seemingly have a ex-display one up for £699 if anyone is in the mood ...
    http://www.rockfactory.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=Gbg-toktal
Oooh, tempting....

  13.
Update to my Disco/Funk Board....
Never tried any of those Akais.

Mine is called maximum prog board.

Noticably different in this band to my previous boards which have always featured a boss OC-2 octaver and AW-2 auto-wah.

I miss them - but just don't need them at the mo.

  14.
Are you interested in any pedal trades.
I am interested in trades, but I have an OC-2 and an AW-2 and I was never too keen on the Boss bass synthesiser. Thanks for the offer though.

  15. Hi folks,

I didn't need the extra features and wanted to reclaim some board space (see http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=attach...t&id=51641) so I have just downsized my Pitchblack+ to a Pitchblack and consequently have a spare Pitchblack+.

    It's a fantastic tuner.

In case you don't know, features include:-

    • Professional guitar and bass pedal tuner offers ultra- precise tuning with an accuracy of +/-0.1 cents.
    • True Bypass output keeps your tone intact at all times.
    • Two instruments can be connected simultaneously, with separate tuning settings for each.
    • In addition to chromatic tuning and standard guitar/bass tuning, the pitchblack+ supports open D, open E, open G, open A, and DADGAD. You can also create and save five of your own custom tunings.
    • Tuning is easily seen by a newly developed “dual meter” using large extra bright LEDs.
    • Support for seven-string guitars and six-string basses.
    • A broad tuning detection range from E0 (20.60 Hz) to C8 (4186 Hz).
    • Calibration is adjustable from 436--445 Hz.
    • A 9V DC output jack is provided to power other pedals in your pedalboard.
    • Tough aluminum die cast body for superb durability.

    For more info.

This sells new for almost £90 (plus P&P). I am asking £65 ovno including postage. Open for trades too.

    http://www.dv247.com/guitars/korg-pitchbla...ar-tuner--48998

It's boxed and in near mint condition - except for some superficial scratches (see the pic).

I'd like to trade (rather than sell). So if you are looking for one of these and have some spares to offload, make me a suggestion.

    Is that okay?

    Cheers all,
    - Nick.

  16.
Here it is, nearly ready....

This handles bass, guitar and twin neck and routes to guitar and bass amps. There's one effect loop and a hardwired bypass. It also supports a stereo mode (for the 4001) which routes the pickups to different amps, with either pickup sent via the effects loop.
Oh dear, I seem to have killed the thread.
