You know, there’s only one thing that helps… no wait, this is my second 8-string, so maybe not.

I just got my custom bass body from AliExpress, ordered a couple of months ago but they were very busy. I’ve had to make some adjustments to the neck pocket but that’s to be expected when they didn’t have the neck to check it. Overall I’m happy with it, pretty nice work and finish.

My main board for the doom band, made from an IKEA Hejne shelf with two T-Rex power supplies under. I should get some better quality patch cables but it works great now. The red PSM-5 is for switching on/off the delay/reverb pedal loop.

Joining here because hey, you can't be a member of too many bass forums I started playing bass some 30+ years go, spent a good few years as a guitar player in a semi-pro band, and then went back to bass 4 years ago. I'm in 2 bands at the moment, a heavy sludge/doom/metal band, and a rock/metal band that started out as an Alice in Chains cover band, but recently have started making own music. A have a few basses, 7 is almost too many according to my wife, but my main ones are my Warwicks, my old 1987 Streamer Stage 2 and I just got a 2003 Blonde Thumb a couple of weeks ago. And that's pretty much it, I'll just go back to lurking a bit and reading what's been going on here
