1.
Can you provide a more accurate weight please?
I don't have any scales, but I'd guess at around 9 lbs.
2. Thanks for the words Wilco - this thing is better built than any of my 70's Fenders... But that isn't exactly hard!
3. Hi mate, it is solid under the guard, and there is a tunnel leading from the pickup cavity to the control cavity.
4. Just FYI, if anyone is looking for replacement grub screws they are available from Diablo Tuning on Ebay. They are in the States, but they also sell them in different lengths. If anyone is having trouble with seized grub screws, DO NOT try and wrench them out. Take the saddle off the bass, and soak in WD40 for half an hour. Give it another go after that, and repeat if necessary. Should work just fine.
5. UPDATE 4/11/14 - BASS HAS FOUND NEW HOME Hi all, 1993/4 Silver Series Squier P Bass up for grabs. Rosewood/Sunburst/Tort finish. Stock except the Seymour Duncan pickup and tort guard. I had this bass as a back up to my '79 P Bass, but never actually used it, plus I've just bought a Jazz so this needs to find a new home. Lightweight bass, set up with a nice low action and a fresh set of nickel rounds. No HSC, but can chuck in a pretty worn rock bag so you can get it home. Pics to follow. - EDIT - Now including SKB HSC Looking for [s]£275 ono [/s]£250 FIRM, collection from London E3 or Bishop's Stortford near Stansted Airport. No trades please. I'd really rather avoid shipping this, so it is a collection or meet up only. I've also got a couple of Ashdown heads for sale too.
6. Another pedal up - DOD 250 RI. Very clean, only one or two marks on it. Boxed. Good low gain overdrive for bass or can be run at higher settings too. £65 posted, or as always can meet up in central London and I'll knock a few quid off.
7. Hi all, the gear cull continues... Got an EHX LPB-1 for sale. Second one I have had, cool sounding gritty boost that fattens the mids. VCG, boxed with all paperwork etc. I'll even include the velcro on the back for free... £20 posted, or I'll knock a few quid off if anyone wants to meet me somewhere in town (Central London) for it. 8. For sale is my Ashdown Little Bastard 30 all valve head. 30 watts, running with JJ EL34's which let the head run clean enough for small - medium venues, and if you need to go louder it has a great DI that comes from the power section so the signal is really a DI of the speaker outs. I'll include the original Ruby Tubes it came with. This is one of the PRC made heads, but comparing it to a UK Little Bastard, the only difference is the fact the UK comes stock with JJ's, and the made in UK sticker on the back. Price is [s]£325ono[/s] £300, collection from London E3 or Bishop's Stortford, near Stansted Airport. No trades please. Happy to meet up within a reasonable distance. 9. For sale is my Ashdown ABM500 evoII head. Made in UK, around 2006, VGC, no hums or issues. I bought this new back at the Bass Centre when they were in Shoreditch. It is the only amp I have never had any problems with, but I haven't gigged it for far too long so it has to go. I can also include the 2 button footswitch if needed. Price is [s]£325ono[/s] £300, collection from me in London E3, or can be Bishop's Stortford, near Stansted Airport. No trades please. Happy to meet within reasonable distance. Also, the Little Bastard above is for sale - See my other thread!
10. Just bought a Badass II off Nick. Can I fault him or the deal? No. Messages dealt with quickly, sent out quickly and well packed item. Thanks mate!
11.
Spend yesterday cutting tracks.. Looked like this! = )
Another Frantone Lo-Tone fuzz! How do you like yours?
