  1. I popped the JJ's in as I got them from Hotrox as they offered them with a hot current draw to stay cleaner, as I wanted a bit more clean out of it, and it does give me the clean. Now I just need to get the preamp to clean up a bit more now...
  2. I'll pop it into the position nearest the output tranny and see what happens there... If it still happens, it may have dodgy pins or something.
  3. Thanks. I'll try re-seating the valve to make sure it is in properly, failing that, I'll give it to my mate/tech. The bugger seems to get a huge hit of power, then the others come on. Kind of like squeezing the hose pipe, getting it to ballon and then releasing it. Interestingly, it only started to occur after I put it back into the head "box".
  4. Has anyone replaced the output valves? I swapped mine out for a set of JJ EL84's from HotRox and when I fire it up the valve nearest the mains transformer seems to get a lot of juice first, it glows really bright, then calms down to normal, then the rest of the valves seem to get juice... Any ideas?
  5. Offer made, accepted but not heard anything else. Withdrawn from sale for now, have plans for it.
  6. Back to the top... £485 new, I'm selling for £300/£325 shipped.
  7. I'm just trying to gather/gauge any interest. See if it floats any boats.
  8. Just a feeler, got a 1993 Japanese built P Bass Sunburst/Black/RW with cream DiMarzio Model P in it. Good nick, good player, built better than my two late '70s Fenders (most things are, to be fair) just not playing it and fancy a Jazz on the forums right now. Anyone fancy a seriously well built, good priced Precision? Pics will be up later. Oh yeah, got some Dunlop locks on it which will be included. EDIT: Call it £275. Ish.
  9. Did I mention original box and all the paperwork/plastic bags with it?
  10. It's lovely, just my Marshall VBA400 is a little more lovely. Just can't justify both sadly!
  11. Ashdown Little Bastard 30w all valve mini monster. Loud enough to gig, light enough to lug. Bought a couple of months ago on eBay from Academy Of Sound as an Ex-Artist head. Got a couple of scratches on a corner, and a mark on the tolex on the back but otherwise absolutely fine. PM me with any questions/concerns. Andy [attachment=113743:photo.JPG] Hear me playing it on this vid (just!) http://youtu.be/7TuyiEs4FmQ
  12. I'm not strapped for cash (for once!) and don't want to sell it for peanuts really. I tried it at a gig last Saturday, and it isn't for me or my setup. Lowest I'd take is £100 posted.
