me too, had a Taurus 2 connected to a Moog Rogue, murder to set up (non-midi) but so so cool. I am way past this sort of thing now but can still look longingly.

  2. alright guys, I have just upgraded fx set up. So what I have here is a tidy basic double fx loop pedal (no blend) with the cool addition of an inverse switch (gets you from both on to off, a to b etc). Bought off here 6 months ago. Full working order, small scuffs, recessed LED that still works fine.

Nabbed this photo off google but looks pretty much identical. PM for info. Waiting for a new daddy for £40 posted UK.

Checked out last few for sale on here so looking for £80 posted in UK (they seem to go for £90 to £120 new). YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT! MAKE ME AN OFFER!

    that sounds painful :)

You are getting some magic advice from your fellows - I have been in and out of playing for years now. Each time out the buzz brings me back. Take the best advice and get busy.

+1 I have this exact model and it is just amazing in terms of tone, just cuts through with it's growly mids. Buy it.

Bought a new pedal online. Brilliant!! Cant wait to get it! Shop advises the peda is next day delivery. It arrives but noones home so I get a calling card. Its dpd! Aaaaaahhhhh! I hate this organisation!!

I cant speak to anyone to assist me its automated phones and a tick box website.
I cant change delivery address as the receiver
They only deliver 9-5 monday to friday - thats when I work!!
Saturday delivery costs an additional 12 quid!!
Bank holidays are a no go.
Did I say they ony deliver when im at work!!!!

Why would anyone use these. I hate faceless organisations. I hate paying for a Service that I have no control over!!

I just want my freakin pedal and its in a warehouse somewhere I cant get to!!!!! Hows that gonna help my gas!!!!!!

    Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!! :@

Clling the shop tomorrow to see if theyll help. Past experience indicates its gonna be a pain in the arsr. This is the third time with this company!!! I just want my bass gear!!
in a civilised world (the one we dont live in obviously) delivery would be a customer focused business in which evening or weekend delivery would be standard. I expect it is in Sweden or Norway (or even Finland).

  8. I use Tapatalk for a couple of my most used sites - it is a god send. I often use my iPod in the house to avoid booting up the laptop or cause I am wanting a very portable option. Safari is a pain on the iPod compared with Tapatalk. Obviously, like now, I still use a full scale browser when I am on my laptop but would really appreciate the option.

  9.
I didn't know Mev Taylors was still going, assumed it was down the pan along with Sound Control. It was always a great shop since the Morrison St days. Is that the old "Rainbow Music" shop?
the good old days, every saturday starting at Sound Control on St Mary's Street, then Live Music on Candlemaker Row, down to Mev's on Morrison St, and probably Rikki's on the way home.

  10.
I couldn't make my mind up what to buy for the house so today, I bought myself a PJ Bass Buddy. I can also use it is as a back up DI and for recording.
great choice BTW, brilliant for recording etc and with its 10W power output, perfectly decent as living room amp. Mine's plugged into my barefaced midget t!!!

  11.
So I'm writing a paper in one of my classes which about guitars/basses in culture. The paper can pretty much be about anything, so I decided to do one about the Wal Bass and Electric Wood. I have always been fascinated with the basses, how they sound, look, are made, designed and so forth. I have gathered a bunch of information off the website, but I wanted to ask real players as well. Thats where BASSCHAT.CO.UK comes in. Basically what I am trying to do is find out about the company, I know the basic information off the site, but was wondering if there are on interesting facts that are not on the website. Also what players use wals. (I know Justin Chancellor, Geddy Lee, Paul McArtney, Jeff Ament, Mick Karn, and Flea all use(d) one.) But perhaps any other famous people I should know about. Another thing would be the debate over which wal's are better the older ones or the more recently made ones since they returned into production. Any and all information would be very much appreciated.
fixed it for you. really interesting topic for a paper, sorry I dont know anything though. Best of luck!
