Has anyone seen one of these in the UK yet?
Looks very interesting.

looks very interesting indeed. I haven't seen any in UK yet. Thomann are usually first in Europe and now Bass Direct carry SA. They had lost their UK distributor, not sure whether BD are now the distributors. Will Cady hangs about here occasionally, maybe he will update us.

Sorry resurrect this, but I'm looking at DHA pedals at the moment. I was condering a catalinbread sft as the utube vids show it as a nice clean always on tube emulator that gets overdriven when you dig in. Do the DHA pedals work in the same way?
Cheers

I didn't find the DHA responded in the way the SFT is supposed to with that ability to drive based on attack - you set the drive level on the DHA and you were off. Obviously dynamics would allow for variation in tone but it didn't work quite like the SFT. I loved the VT2 (twin channel), I would quite fancy a VT1 (single channel), although purely to do with real estate on my board I have gone for a SFX red dragon, which I hear good things about.

I used to have one of those. Sounded great (lovely crunchy drive sound), and really tweakable, but it was physically HUGE. Including the valves and protective handle thing, it must be about 5 inches tall.

that was actually my VT2 which I sold on partly because it was HUGE

4. i have a wired hot hand - that's just cool - I kinda like it better than my expression pedal, though it's a bit more awkward. I will connect up to my drum machine to control the LFO. I also have m-audio usb-Midi connector so will try linking it to Cubase, Reaper etc. In terms of sound, I have been feeding in the multiwave distortion, which is really good as you can hear in the SA videos, but my SFX micro Fuzz is just immense. Bassy synth tones. So to reduce the real estate on my board and to recoup some cash I will try to sell off the multiwave distortion.

5. flirted with selling mine but fcuk me it's just too good. I literally sat transfixed for 6 hours today fiddling with everything and i just couldn't believe all the sounds. I am still struggling to get any sounds my band can use :) but i have decided to persevere and use this to change the band's sound. Ok maybe not dubstep but i am gonna have fun :)

6. SOLD PENDING

hiya guys. I have sold the Frantabit but am now keeping the Source Audio Filter Pro cause its immense. Remaining then is the multiwave bass distortion at a reduced price.

SOURCE AUDIO MULTIWAVE BASS DISTORTION - http://www.sourceaud..._distortion.php - very good condition, original box and instructions £60 posted UK.

Cheers, Rich

7. Hola, my frantabit is finally let out of customs limbo tomorrow. Been checking out the TB thread on which there is mucho amor for this bad boy. Come on, give me the BC lowdown??! How do I use this unbelieveably unnecessary pedal to liven up my unbelieveably dull life?? The money shot is when I see it next to my Soundblox Envelope filter pro - I shall be pumping out degrading noises right into the BEF for hours on end :) Any other advice on bitcrushing etc?
