1. Sorry mate, been down the markbass route before.
2. OK, here's my RH450, which comes with the footswitch and TC Electronic bag. The amp is in perfect condition, and the footswitch looks great too, but has some little marks from being on the floor. I've had a look at recent FS threads, and I think £550 seems like a fair price, but I'd be open to amp/cab trades too.
3. Cheers for an easy transaction Joe!
4. Fender gigbag, in brand new condition. It came with my precision, and has only been used to transport it home from the shop. Looking for £20 delivered in UK.
5.
I paid about £60 for my one of these and its worth every penny. This is a steal!
Cheers mate, yeah they are great tuners!
6. Sorry, I should have made clear that this is UK delivery only. I shall edit my original post.
7. Korg tuner, very good condition in box. Has velcro (rough side) on base, looking for £45 delivered in the UK. Edit for pic:
8. I've decided against selling this, because it is just so lovely and I know I'll regret selling it in the long run!
9. I've also been asked by message what the neck profile is like - I'd say it's nice and skinny like a jazz, and also quite slim front to back. These measurements, coupled with the satin finish make it a very fast feeling neck! Anyway, dropped the price a bit, now £300 off what I bought it for and it's in exactly the same condition!
10. Hi Vic, sorry for my slow reply - I've been away and received no notification that anyone had posted on this! Regarding the body wood, I'm not too sure - I was going on the spec for the 'Bullet Special' on the Sandberg site which this seems to be based on. There are dot markers for the usual frets, and these fall where the fretlines would be. I'm sure any decent luthier wouldn't find it too hard to put some fretlines in, but I have no idea how much it would cost. I'll get some recordings done early next week and post them on this thread.
11. Back to the top of a forum full of beautiful fretless basses! *wince*
12. Aye, I fell in love with it as soon as I laid hands on it - only went into the shop for a pack of strings!
13. I bought this new from PMT Leeds about 6 months ago, but it just hasn't had the use it deserves! As I bought voxpop's Clover 6 string a couple of days ago I've decided to enforce a one-in, one-out policy and re-list this. Anyway onto the bass. This is an absolute corker of a fretless; it plays beautifully, feels comfy and light, looks gorgeous, is built incredibly well and (most importantly) sounds fantastic. It's also in brand new condition, and has never been gigged (I didn't do enough practice with it!) So to the specs... It's a maple neck, rosewood board and nut, mahogany back with an exotic wood top, which I think is bubinga, but then I'm not too sure... If anyone knows their woods please correct me, however it is pretty! The pickup is an humbucking soapbar, with 3-band EQ, and active/passive toggle on the volume pot. The sound is very Jaco at the bridge, but due to the humbucker it has a little bit more authority and bottom end. However, the EQ can muster up many different tones, and with the right hand towards the neck it really moves into upright territory, with beautiful dynamic swells. It's currently strung with Chromes flats, but don't think this means that it's missing 'mwah' - it still sings out beautifully. Unfortunately I'm not willing to courier this as I only have the gigbag it came with; although this is very well padded I wouldn't want to risk it. However, I am willing to drop off for petrol money, or possibly meet halfway. Otherwise collection from Leeds would be great, and I'm in Leicestershire most weekends too. Sound clips are here, please excuse the terrible intonation. There are 3 different lines played, the first is over the pickup, the second is towards the neck and the third is on the neck. All lines are played twice; once with the preamp bypassed, and the second time with a slight bass, mid and treble boost.
14.
Hey threep', no offence man, but I'd be more concerned about that shirt/tie combo/mix.
Well, wedding gigs pay the bills mate.
15.
I bet these are cheaper: http://www.interparcel.com/
Actually, they came out more expensive!
16.
Would you be interested in a trade for a brand new MIM Jazz, an ESP/LTD C304 and a wee bit of cash from me?
Sorry, but I'm not really up for any trades, just need the cash!
17.
This not gone............amazing.....
I know!
18. A little update... I got a fender gigbag included with the precision I bought yesterday, and as it is surplus to my requirements I can include it with the sale (along with the case). Also, I've had a hunt in my basement this evening, and I should have enough cardboard to pack this up, so I can now courier the bass. However, the best quote I've seen for delivery and insurance is just over £30... If any keen buyers know where I can better this, please let me know!
19. Right, not going for trades now as I bought a P bass this afternoon. There's been a heck of a lot of interest in this, but nothing confirmed as yet...
20.
Would suit me nicely.....if my 30th Ray sells and this is still here I'll be asking you to make a slight detour to Rotherham on your way from Leeds to Loughborough. bump
Cool, well I'll be heading down on Friday afternoon
21.
somebody please buy this bass... please, please... take away this temptation!
Mwahahaha! *ahem*
