  1. after recently getting a nice shiney 3way pedal from Alien, ive no use for my trusty 2 channel A/B switch. I bought this last year from redonions, its powder coated red, with twin inputs going into one single output. each channel has seperate volume control and seperate LED so you know which channel is on!! its standard a/c powered (cant remember if its also set up for battery but will unscrew it to have a look wheni get the chance) few scuffs etc from normal use and ive got initoals on the volume pots for my different basses but i guess these will wash off! anyhow, great pedal very reliable. £30 posted. will take a pic tomorrow
  2. just ordered and received a great switch pedal from Andy, great piece of kit great price and quick delivery, many thanks saved me loads over well known 'branded' switch pedals! MANY THANKS
  3. i currently use a great A/B switch pedal i got from redoinions ages ago, it has two inputs with seperate vol for each into a single output - so i can swap between two basses when gigging. However I now have three regular gigging basses and so want a similar setup - A/B/C with seperate vol for each into one output. anyone know where i can get one? emailed redonion but got a reply tro say there now xlosed!? cheers

  5. recently got my hands on a washburn status, plays great but got one niggle - the output on the 'd' string is weaker than the other strings! Ive tried raising the bridge saddle to give greater string relief but no difference! one thing ive noticed is that the upper frets 1 - 4 appear quite 'flat' in comparison to the other frets could this be a contributing factor? I'm thinking of a refret but dont want to shell out if the end resulkt will be the same! anyone had sinilar problems? Ive got the action down as low as i can go and when depressing the 3rd fret theres buzz on the 'd' beyond that its fine! cheers
  6. Go this off here not so long ago, but ebay madness and an impending arrival means one in one out and this I'm afraid looks to be the victim. Its a lovely bass, early '80's serial nember Lxxxxxxx which i believe makes it an '83 60's jazz replica the body is in good shape with minimal knocks and paint wear and the usual buckle rash, neck is lovely nice feel fast to play. When i bought it it had already been modded with hipshot aged machine heads (the very bottom screw hole can be seen protruding from where the original tokai machines would have been installed) and also the pups were kent armstrongs i was led to believe. the fender logo was already applied when i got it too and its a very good job. Any way since owning it ive replaced the pups with a set of feneder noisless ones which i felt gave a nicer warm tone (I'm no good with a soldering iron so i cut the original wires about 2" off the pots and used single small block connectors to wire in the new ones - its fine and theres no issues but i guess theyd really should be soldered properly which is a five minute job!) Its nicely set up with a set of flats (cant recall the make) and the action is nice and low. It soounds awesome and is a pleasure to play, I know its not one for the purists but as with any bass it should be how it plays and sounds thats important! Ive gigged with it often since getting it and it is second only to my warwick fortress, and although i do have a couple of other basses it always ends up in the car with me to gigs more so than any of the others! Looking for £400 posted - will come with a nice padded gig bag. Could be tempted with offers but please make them realistic [attachment=49072:DSCF6854.JPG] [attachment=49074:DSCF6855.JPG] [attachment=49075:DSCF6856.JPG] [attachment=49076:DSCF6858.JPG] [attachment=49077:DSCF6859.JPG][attachment=49078:DSCF6861.JPG] [attachment=49079:DSCF6862.JPG]
