1. For sale is my Michael Pope MPP-1 preamp in nearly mint condition. Everything looks absolutely new, except some very minor little marks on the bottom side from rackmount. The preamp was designed and built by one of my alltime-fav-bassplayers Mike Pope and has been discontinued a couple of years ago. Quite hard to find in Europe… You can still find all technical information on Mike's website: http://www.michaelpopedesign.com/scrolls/product_mpp1intro.html Soundvise the preamp is absolutely dead-silent. Big sound with a lot of options with the toggle-switches. I used the preamp exclusively in my (animal and smoke-free) home studio, fixed installed on top of my interface. Right now, EVERY bass of mine has a Mike-Pope-EQ installed, thus I can part with my preamp now… SOLD!!! Location is Germany near Bonn. Shipping is of course no problem (we can split costs inside the EU).
2. SOLD: Vanderkley Aurora Amp. I purchased the amp some years ago directly from Marc Vanderkley. Condition is almost like new, I am nearly paranoid in taking care of my stuff. No dings, dongs, scratches etc. See the pictures… The amp is working 100% reliable since day 1, (like everything I ever had from Marc Vanderkley, got almost the whole product line, I am a fan and friend almost from the first days on…). The amp comes with the orginal case (the case does have some signs of wear as you can see from the pictures) and the original accessoires (manual, rack-ears, Headphone-adapter, powercable). Extremely quiet fan, endless power and clearity. Unfortunately the amp has been discontinued and is rather hard to find these days. Location is near Bonn / Cologne in Germany. The amp can be tested here, coffee and beer available, of course 😉 SOLD! 3. Bump on me! This bass was mine for a couple of years. So far, I am almost tempted to buy it back. Super-light and in my opinion the best example of Lakland's outstanding quality back in the days. I've owned another Lakland from the same period, but not even close as good as that one. Rob is a great guy, so buy with confidence! Good luck with the sale, somebody will be happy…
4. Hi! Wow, Ken Lawrence basses are by far my favourite! Do you know the scale length? 34" or 35"? Thanks!
5. Luc is a great guy, bass is a great instrument, price is a great deal! Good luck!
6. Absolutely! But I still dont get why they discontinued the old classics like DB680, DB359 and the DB728 poweramp. I guess each of these amps / preamps / poweramps are kind of the ultimate reference of its class. From an economical point of view might be more reasonable to focus on Tonehammer, but in my opinion these products are the foundation of the excellent reputation of Aguilar. Anyway, I also have a TH500, DB751 and two 112SL… Love them… Great stuff!
7. Hi, I am selling an Aguilar DB680 All-Tube-Preamp. This preamp is beyond fantastic, unfortunately discontinued a few years ago. In my opinion (I guess A LOT would agree…) the best preamp EVER. Warm, round, fat sound with flexable EQ. Hard to find… I am selling it because I have 2! One is installed in the studio, this one was my backup (silly idea, as I never had any problems with the main preamp). So after I have not used this one for ages I decided to sell it. I brought this preamp for check and service to tonehunter (tonehunter.de), got it back last week. Everything fine, I will of course include the invoice. Perfect condition… Technical conditions 1A+. some lighter scratches on top from rackmount (you can see it on the pictures.). The softcase is included. If u prefer I could also send it in a SKB-case, your choice. SOLD The preamp is located in Germany / near Bonn.
8. Hi Arnoldo! How old is the bass? Approx weight? Thanks!
9. Thanks for your kind words! Think it is a great deal as well (for a quick sale).
10. Fantastic bass. Birth year approx. 1999 - 2000 (back in the days…) Ultra-low action, bass delivers a huuuuuuge lowend and cuts the mix like a scapel, also with large ensembles, on big stages etc, The bass has been played (sound of a true player), but always with great care. Very good condition, a few minor marks here and there but nothing to be exposable in pics (no way with my camera-skills). Removable ebony ramp, plays like a dream. Earthquake b-string (same caliber as my 36" Fodera, but this one has 34"). The Bass is punchy all over the fretboard, from deepest low-end grooves to solo-work and chords in the highest register. Very authorative, cuts the mix. All original, everything works perfect (truss-Rod, extreme ultra-low action). I own(ed) some Foderas, this one has a particular nice neck. Almost quilted maple. Need to sell the bass to fund a new order. New price with these options (upcharge for block-inlays, 5-piece-neck etc.), customs+tax > 10.000 Euro SOLD! Facts: Ebony Top Mahogany Body wings, Alder Tone Block 5-pc Maple Neck (Upcharge) Ebony Board, 24 frets, Mother of Pearl Blocks (Upcharge) 34 scale String Spacing at bridge: 18,5 - 19,5 mm (now ca. 19 mm) Black Hardware Seymour Duncan Dual Coils Ebony Ramp, removable Pope preamp, 3-Bd.-EQ Weight: 4,9 kg Birth Year: ca. 1999 Thanks for looking! Of course, any questions, pic requests etc. welcome!
