  1. Hi Bob, I am sorry, but the pedal is sold now. And for sure, Jacques' pedals are amazing and you are of course welcome to ask. Cheers
  2. Hi Bob, thanks for your interest! Yes, the RMI is still available. According to dhl shipping would be something like 12 GBP +- (insured with tracking). Cheers, Christian
  3. Cheers, thanks a lot! Really a pitty that Lehle does not continue this pedal. Best compressor ever (at the very end I would also prefer it to FEA Labs).
  4. WMD Super Fatman for sale "The mother of all envelopers" – crazy piece of gear. I am the first owner, like-new condition with original packaging. Please check the pictures Has "all there is to have" around filters, enveloping etc. Asking 180 GBP (200,- Euro)
  5. For sale is my RMI Dual Band Compressor in excellent condition. I was quite obsessed with Compressor pedals and literally had any piece of high-end gear. My favourites are FEA Labs and these RMI Dual Band Compressors. At the moment I own 3 x RMIs which is of course riddiculous… This one was in spare and hardly been used. Please check out the pictures, comes with original packaging. Unfortunately the pedal is discontinued as Jacques – the founder and mastermind of RMI - recently retired. Specs: https://lehle.com/EN/RMI-Basswitch-Dual-Band-Compressor SOLD
  6. For sale is my Boomerang III Phrase sampler – a true legend, "the mother of all loopers I guess". I am the first owner, pedal comes with original packaging, manual, etc. Great working condition, haven't used the pedal much at all. Please see pictures: very good overall condition, some optical marks. New price around 570,- Euro (https://www.loopersparadise.de/de/index.php?p=317) SOLD
  7. Haha, I just thought "If only it had one string more"… 😉
  8. This is an absolute amazing instrument for a great price! F**k Covid, in better days I would really think hard about getting it back! Good luck Goran!
  9. Hi! Regarding the second toggle switch I have now information by Ken himself: "That was before Glockenklang offered the "boosted” version of their pre-amps and I wanted the capability to give it some. This is a boost unit from EMG and the trim pot on the top regulates how much boost between 5db to 20db. Turning it clockwise turns up the amount of boost so I always set it at the furthest counterclock-wise so it was reasonable. " So you can trim it from subtile boost to VERY MUCH. Hope that helps! Cheers
  10. Don't wanna be rude, but: Any questions regarding my superb Kenneth Lawrence Chamberbrace 5-string? 😉 Lets maybe move that chainsaw-conversation to a private conversation. Happy to introduce you there to my buddy we just call the "tooth fairy" 😂🤣
  11. Sander De Gier builds really great basses! But I am very sorry, just selling my Ken Lawrence 5 as I have something else with Ken in planning. And I am very much a 6-string guy. Have you seen this one? https://www.luthiersaccessgroup.com/product/kenneth-lawrence-chamberbrase-ii-6-string-bass/
  12. Wow, that sounds rough. Maybe coffee instead? 😅
  13. Well, ehm, öhhh, – NO! 😉 I guess keepers until I have to stop playing bass… Sorry!
  14. Haha, I see! Cheers, thanks for the bump! And be careful with the word "forever" 😂.. For example I have bought and sold an Aguilar DB751 3 times and even consider to buy it a 4th time… 🙈
  15. No, I know Rainer very well for a lot years and a lot of bass deals, but I am not Rainer 😉
  16. Haha, you are Right!! I also have a „note-not-found“ bass with serial #404. (sorry, I could not resist. And it’s true ;-))
  17. Thanks a lot! No, the name "Jonas" is just coincidence with Jonas Hellborg. Siggi Jäger (the masterbuilder behind Human Base) has been building basses for Kai Eckhardt (among other fantastic players), but not for Jonas Hellborg AFAIK. If I get the story right Siggi started with a partner somewhen in the 80s. At some point they wanted to add a neckthrough custom model. Siggi developed the "Jonas" shape and his partner a model called "Max".
  18. Cheers, thanks a lot Robert! Hope to talk and hang again soon
  19. Cheers, thank you! One toggle switch is for the blue LEDs (on / off). The other one is a booster. Haven’t used this feature, a custom spec that Ken used sometimes. I guess the booster can be trimmed (I will verify that). Played the bass most of the time in passive mode though. Weight is coming asap
  20. Thanks for the kind words! And yes, I totally agree 😉 just consider selling as I have 2 other Chamberbraces (a 6-string and another 5 that Ken custombuilt for me).
  21. SOLD! Kenneth Lawrence ChamberBrase II 5-string Update: Weight and some new pics Ken Lawrence is without doubts one of the best luthiers ever. Even Vinnie Fodera came to this conclusion (and well, he might know a bit about basses as well… ;-)). I have been playing Ken's basses for long time and can 110% confirm this reputation. Besides being an extraordinary player himself Ken is the nicest guy who really cares about his customers. This bass is extremely rare and kind of a full-house-configuration, see spec sheet below. It hardly gets any more exclusive: Abalone inlays and logo, ebony bindings on fretboard, LED-Dots …… The craftmanship is out of this universe. The construction with its semi-hollow body gives the instrument an unbelievable dynamic and response. The sound does have an acoustic touch with some "airy vibe", but ultimately this is a powerful electric bass that delivers an amazing low-end. In fact I have and had also several Foderas from 33" to 36" scale and this bass has by far the best b-string I have ever player. The bass has been used and played a lot, but always extremely well cared. I used it on several tours throughout Europe and did not have to touch the trussrod a single time. Even on real big stages the sound is well-defined and precise, never boomy. Very low action with B-G at the moment. Also used E-C for some time, so that is possible of course The ramp can be removed without any marks Condition is excellent, I would give a 8.5 - 9 / 10. After very close inspection I found 3 marks: A little mark at the wooden electricity cover, a mark at the upper flush mount straplock and one next to the input jack. The last two marks are very superficial and just affecting the lacquer (Ken uses an ultra-light finish). It is not in the wood, no dings or dongs. The instrument would cost > 10.000 USD new plus shipping, tax, customs etc. and at least 2 years waiting time (guess it might be even longer, Ken just takes orders in January). So much more than 10.000 Euro with all the overhead. SOLD The bass is located near Bonn / Germany. Shipping at buyers expense and risk is no problem. Specs: Kenneth Lawrence Instruments ChamberBrase II Scale Length: 33" Nut: 1 3/4” nut String Spacing: 19 mm, Adjustable To 18-20mm Body Wood: Claro Walnut Top Wood: Figured / Blackened Redwood Top and Headstock Cap Neck: Eastern Maple 3 Piece with Dual Function Stainless Steel Truss Rod Fretboard: presumably Cocobolo with Gaboon Ebony Binding Inlays: Paua Abalone Blocks with Matching Paua Abalone Headstock Logo w/ Ebony Surround Additional: Gaboon Ebony Control Cavity Cover Electronics: Blue fibre optic side dots with on/off switch Nordstrand hum-cancelling "J" pickups w/ Gaboon Ebony covers Customized Glockenklang 3 band preamp, Tara Labs wiring Update: Weight: According to my old bathroom scale the bass weights 4.1 kg. In comparison to my other basses where I know the precise weight this makes completely sense… Toggle switches: There are two toggle switches, one switch is the on / off for the blue LEDs in the fretboard, the other one is some sort of boost. It adds a big load of db to the signal and gives the bass a fat bottom (as far as I see it can be trimmed, its the blue circuit, please the new picture of the cockpit). Haven't used both switches at all, as I usually have enough light on stage and play the bass 90% passive. I used the EQ as a second setting with a slightly shaped solo sound. However, I asked Ken about the exact specs of the circuit and will be able to give a more profound answer very soon hopefully.
  22. The bass is sold Human Base Jonas 5 fretless I am selling my beloved Human Base Jonas fretless. These basses - especially the fretless basses - are among the finest instruments available. Handbuilt by master luthier Siggi Jäger in Germany. This bass was built for me, 1st owner. I am selling the bass as I need some space and cash for new things and I also have a very similar Human Base fretless 6-string (I am more a 6-string guy…). This bass has been unplayed in its case for years now… Model Jonas 34" Maple-Body 3-part maple neck (neck-through) Amaranth-top ("Purpleheart") Ebony fretboard 24 "frets" with fretlines Bartolini-Pickup Glockenklang 3-Band-EQ Amaranth-Ramp (you can take it off without any marks) Weight (bathroom scale): 4.1 kg Except some tiny playwear on the fretboard (please see pictures) excellent condition, almost like new. The bass comes with original gigbag or HISCOX-case and tools. The bass is sold! The bass is located near Bonn / Germany. Shipping is no problem (at buyer's expense and risk)
  23. I am selling a JAM Pedals Dyna-ssoR Compressor-Pedal. These boutique pedals are handmade in Greece, excellent craftmanship and REALLY cool artwork. I have ordered this pedal directly from JAM Pedals while I was testing out different compressors like crazy (had almost everything on the market…FEA Labs, Aguilar and LEHLE RMI). Ended up using a FEA Labs and this one, finally decided to go for the FEA Labs. However, this pedal was just used at home, only a few hours total. No gigs, rehearsals, no smokers came even close… ;-). Comes with original packaging. Some more specs https://www.jampedals.com/dyna-ssor-bass/ PEDAL IS SOLD
  24. Selling this beautiful Human Base Max 5 headless in translucent blue. I bought this bass for touring with lots of flying. Used it on 2 big tours with 30+ flights and it was so much easier than ever before: The bass fits in a regular guitar gigbag and can thus easily be stored in every hand luggage. The sound is very clear, focussed and with a massive low-end. Played this bass from very small to very big stages, engineers loved it… Human Base - Max 5-string - Headless-Design: works with normal strings, no double-ball-ends or other special strings neccessary - maple body - maple top - maple neck (3 piece, neck-through) - ebony-fretboard - Delano-Pickups - Glockenklang 3-Band-EQ with active/ passive (push-pull) and passive toneblend (in passive mode) - 4,2kg - built in 2010 - 2 Switches: not 100% sure, I believe it changes the wiring of the pickups between serial, parallel and single (it certainly does something like that, but not particularly sure about the technical details. however: this feature provides a bunch of tonal options from "huge fat humbucker" and crispy single-coil. The bass is in very good conditions. A few little marks of use, please check the pictures. They give a good impression of the instrument. BASS IS SOLD!! Bass is located in Germany, near Bonn / Cologne.
