  3. Hi Thanks for the offer. Sadowsky's are amazing instruments but Im looking for a straight sale on this one, hence the low price Thanks

  5. I have decided to sell my Alleva Coppolo bass. Purchased from Clarky a few years ago. Its an absolute cracker but I have moved to Laklands recently and I no longer play this as the passive thing is more my style at the moment. This bass is essentially a precision but with jazz pickups and controls. It also has the renowned Alleva Coppolo pickups and active preamp (bass and treble boost) Sounds amazing. The bass was made in his New York workshop before he moved to LA. Neck rosewood but Im not sure if its Brazillian or not. It certainly is a beautiful fingerboard. Finish is candy apple green (really cool in the flesh) and it has a wafer thin nitro finish so it wears beautifully. Alleva Coppolo used some old ex Fender guy to apply the nitro just like the pre CBS days. This allows the bass to breath and sing a little (so they say) Condition is very good. Some checking in the nitro that you can see on the headstock form a certain light, some light wear on the body. One small crack in the finish at the neck pocket where somebody removed the tight neck. This is minor and as it didnt expose any wood or anything it looks quite cool, as the finish on this bass made to wear and break in. Neck width is between a jazz and a precision. Bass weighs just a shade over 9lbs, action is low, fast, hardward is immaculate as are frets and neck. Comes with hardshell case. These instruments are super rare and this one was a prototype signature model given to Weeks for his Clapton Tour. Interestingly though I think it was first made for Jeff Andrews who used a similar style Fender bass, ie p bass with jazz pickups, three precision knobs and two small jazz control knobs. Weeks was given the bass and Jimmy had it on his site as the Willie Weeks model for a while before it simply became known as a signature model. This one has all the extras so if a similar bass was order from AC today the price would be well over 4k including taxes etc. Asking price £2100 Thanks Note : I recently swapped out the precision control knobs for Jazz ones (just like Jimmy uses on his LG series instruments. I feel it looks much nicer like this. The 3 chrome and 2 small jazz controls were on it to mimic the Fender bass that Jeff Andrews used which is a P bass with jazz pickups and the mix of jazz and precision control knobs) [attachment=126515:Feb 1st import 038.JPG] [attachment=126511:Feb 1st import 035.JPG] [attachment=126512:Feb 1st import 036.JPG] [attachment=126513:Feb 1st import 037.JPG] [attachment=126516:Feb 1st import 039.JPG] [attachment=126517:Feb 1st import 041.JPG] [attachment=126518:Feb 1st import 042.JPG] [attachment=126519:Feb 1st import 043.JPG]

  7. I have tried tons of comp pedals. I rate Ovni Lab as a good reference point. If your on a budget the BBE comp is great, not the recent (Moustahe) edition but the older one The EBS is a great pedal, but be aware that the compression is quite subtle. Tubeism mode is nice. Rothwell Love Squeeze is nice Aguilar TLC is a great choice for slap as there is lots of control I have to agree with a previous post and say the Diamond is my pick of the bunch at the moment. It adds tone to your sound but has a lovely smooth compression Good luck with the hunt
  8. I bought this from the Gallery last year and barely used it as I havent been gigging much since then. It is a fantastic amp and the only reason I am selling is that I have a DB750 and cant justify having the two as they sound similar. The amp is in perfect condition, no scratches, marks, issues or damage of any kind. I keep it in a flight case (like a microphone case) The interior of the case if fully padded so the amp sits snugly in place at all times. I have the manual and stickers that come with the amp As I said it is in as new condition and will come with case so Im looking for £440 posted Thanks PS : I cant seem to upload pics onto this website at the moment for some reason so I can email them to you if you are intersted Thanks
  9. Bump (still no bloody pics, if anybody has advice on how download them Id be gratefull. Each time I select them in either basic uploader or advanced it tries and then says no files selected ??? A little frustrating as the pics demonstrate how new this cab is.
  10. For some reason I cant upload any pics on this site ??? I have taken a few pics and can email them to anybody thats interested But as I say the cab and cover are absolutley mint!
  11. I am selling my Vanderkley 112 MNT. I bought it from The Gallery last year but only got to use it on a few occasions. It is still in the same condition as the day I bought it! No damage, marks, tears, scuffs. I kept it in its soft padded cover at all times. This is the best 12 inch cab on the market today (imo), The build quality is second to none It sounds amazing. I used to gig with the Aguilar GS 112's but on their own they sounded a little short on low end and body but this one cab sounds like a pair of those but with a smoother, more even sound across the range. Vanderkley make two 112 cabs and this is their flagship version. Its neo so its light

  17. Hi Is the most recent version of the Empress EQ pedal, ie the one with the boost switch on it and the mini toggles on top? Also is it blue or grey? Thanks
  18. I have tried out quite a few comp pedals including keeley, Rothwell, EBS, Trace Elliot, MXR (2 knob), Mark Bass, Aguilar and Boss. I went for a Diamond in the end and Im really impressed with it. Simple to use, impossible to get a bad tone.
