Sold

[s]Selling my Corona Chorus pedal as I am not using it really anymore and it's just sitting on my board looking green and lonely Mint condition with original box and manual (has velcro on the bottom if needed) These are great pedals (I use the delay and distortion pedals) with a really nice sound and true bypass[/s] Link to the tc page http://www.tcelectronic.com/corona.asp Sold
3. I have a Dingwall for sale to help ease your GAS? :-)
4. Welcome! Jumbo frets are standard on current standard Fenders. The American Vintage versions have "Vintage frets" which are a lot smaller, as do the Squier Classic Vibe series and also most Japanese Fenders I believe. I wouldn't think this would be what was causing the pain though?
5. Here's mine! Might be up for sale shortly though depending on what the garage say about my car!!
6. There we go!
7. Will try and take a couple tonight
8. yes I have one! A 3/4 czech, seems nice but having never played one before I am no expert! lol First impressions were blimey it's big and heavy! Really have to give it a good pull on the strings for pizz (A and E strings, G and D are much easier ) Came with a bow as well so been having a play with that, I think I prefer the bowed sound to my fingers. Currently just doing some half position stuff and getting frustrated with my intonation! I also find sitting and playing rather than standing at the moment as I find it easier to put pressure on the fingerboard with my left hand
9. That's interesting, I only ask as I have the bass on hire and that's how it came
10.
Try putting the details in here: http://www.quinnviol...gidsearch.shtml
Will have a look at that site when I have the bass to hand, cheers! I just thought it a bit strange to have 2 strings one colour and 2 another colour, all different colours or all the same I would of thought
11. Hmmm well they feel like gut alike nylons but having never played one before I'm not 100% They don't feel like normal steel electric bass strings so I'm guessing nylon
12. Had a double bass for a couple of days now, and noticed the silk at the bridge end of the strings are different. Is this normal? The G and D are blue and the A and E are red (I think they are this way round, I am at work at the mo so can't see them!) Does this mean they are different tensions? Ta!
13.
Enjoy! It's so full of basses that I'm scared to touch any incase I cause a bass avalanche!
lol! Considering I haven't had a lesson yet I won't be touching any in public as I won't know what I'm doing!
14. Going up there this afternoon to hire a Double Bass! Excited! Gonna have some fun when I get it back home That is all
15. Cheers Chris, I can wait till the new year no problems! Whereabouts in London are you?
16.
Whitstable any good to you..?
Could be a bit further than I would like but I won't rule it out :-)
17. I did send a PM to Chris but had no reply, not sure wether there is a problem with messenger
18. Hi all, Anybody know of any reputable double bass teachers in Kent or south east London? I have contacted a couple but have had no reply to emails and no answers from their mobiles! It's almost like they don't need the money! haha Cheers
19. Used to own one, a GMR Bassforce 4 (bought from Bass Merchant) very nice but I didn't hang on to it for long as I was going through a spell of GAS at the time and moved it on. Nice attention to detail (wooden pickup covers, wooden knobs) nice woods used, the sound was a bit sterile from what I remember.
