I dont want to let this go as i love the crazy sounds i can get out of it..........but due to a new second guitardist in the band i am not able to use it much (with a pair of distortion nuts guitarists) so i am looking to trade for a lighter type fuzz. (big muff,mxr etc) works off any boss etc type powerpack/daisy chain etc W,h,y

    Finally scourced 1 :-) If anyone on here is having the same nightmare I have finding 6ohm Ampeg speakers?.......then this is the place to get em Nightingale 'Audio Systems Ltd' great to deal with.

    Wasn't it the cheaper MBA 8x10s at that low price,not the VBA?..... I think its a lot more than that new? Might be wrong?... Just my two pence worth ;-)

    Got this from a fellow BC'r a couple of weeks ago. Grand sturdy mxr type phase. I'm needing to raise cash for gear......as new condition ( he only used it a couple of times as did I ) Just want what I paid :-) postage inc Bank transfer preferred. Pics up later as im on me phone.

    Thanks 'TheGreek'..... i can't seem to find him on BC?? Im thinking i just want a new 1 in now, but its driving me loopy trying to find ANY!! 6ohm 10" speakers??( it's like they are a myth). I sent an email direct to Ampeg ....who got back ( nice n fast) to say they don't deal outside of usa/canada to the general public and gave me details of the uk's Makie/Ampeg dealer.....similar reply,they gave me a list of authorized dealers ( more like amp repair shops). Im having no luck with them :-(. The main speaker thats damaged .......the paper cone is good ( no rips etc ) but when you put pressure on the cone there is that rubbing card sound and feel ?? I know it would change the impendence adding a 8ohm speaker..........but would it mess the sound up to much?,i can handle minor things as long as it stops any farts on certain notes. If anyone can help then ace ;-)

    Hi folks. 1 of my speakers has knackerd up in my 6x10 cab have gone.the only place I can see that sell replacements is thoman at £208 the pair........ I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere I could get them reconed?? Think it might be cheaper for me?

    I know its a cheap un ....but I use the vt pedal as a pre and use a digitech bad monkey as my main pedals ( nearly always on ),the sound is fantastic ,play softly and you get that wonderful tube tone ....dig in a bit and the BM gives you that nice break up . I have chance to use the valve heads at our studio......tbh I prefer my tone :-)

    I posted on the 'wanted ' page i while ago asking if anyone had a woolly mammoth clone for sale?? no joy! I then recived a pm off of TG Flatline offering to build me 1 at an amazing value . just recived it today ...........and i have got to say im proper chuffed :-) a Fantastic qaulity build and awsome sound! From day 1 Tom was keeping me up to date and made sure i got what i wanted , he is a absolute gent to deal with:-) He will be launching his own range of bass + guitar effects ( plus personal orders ) in the new year ,with a website and FB page I strongly recommend you guys check him out :-) i know this might belong in the feedback section .... but here as well.

    huh?? how the hell whould the font style make a difference(as long as you can read it) to someone choosing this amp or not?. Btw way ...great amp :-) and great font :-)
