  1. This Literally arrived from the far East today (2hrs use)..just wanted to try out of curiosity.

The new Joyo Monomyth ,clone of the  Darkglass Alpha Omega Ultra. TBF it certainly cops the feel and tone of my old Alpha omega and surprisingly decent quality.

God knows why they have slap mostly with a distortion demo, odd choice 🤷.

Anyways save yourself a £15 and 4week wait

    £75 now £68posted.

As always I'm happy to hear trade offers.

  2. The R series pedals are fab I think .I had the Aquarius and it was ace... This new bass drive definitely has Darkglass vibes.

I've bought many pedals from "iffy" Chinese sites (Ali etc) with no probs

Ridiculous size, ridiculous price, ridiculous VU meter... All the same issues as the Hyperdrive really...

    Pass...

Yep. I'm sure it'll sound good...

    But why so big 😒

I looked at one in a music shop way back when, but couldn’t get past the comic sans font; didn’t even turn it on.

I hear what you are saying....the one downside.but I think the blue W looks cool

I have one of these. Excellent piece of kit.

1000w seems really excessive I thought...but it's really not, they have lovely slow increase on the volume knob and having that extra power gives it a lovely punch and clarity.... I might be wrong 😂

    I think you're right.

The Warwick stuff was always nice, I wonder why they lost their way.

I really hope that amp manufacturers start trying to make compact amps with old school solid state power stages, like the Mesa Walkabout.

I know Class D stuff has improved massively, but in the cheaper stuff it's just a bit pants still...

Anyway, I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for one of their old 1x10 combos of old for home use, o e of the Wamp ones.

Yeah it's a shame really , just mainly seems to be either micro class D or big valve heads for sale new these days. I had a handbox R400 which was a fantastic old school (tube pre) head in a mini package...just a shame it didn't have a little more juice.

  7. New addition Warwick tubepath 10.1.

Damn this has become my new favourite... What a hidden gem of an amp,IMG_20230409_213641.thumb.jpg.4be9d6acdbadf868f4be0d7f61c3b85c.jpgA real sleeper 💪.

I do want to give these another go. I remember mine being almost a Mesa BB750 for nearly quarter of the price. As you say, it does the ‘tubey/valvey’ thing very well

They do seem to pop up now and then cheap.

  9. Finally got my amp back... Nearly 3 months from purchase 😲.

But Christ! This thing sounds phenomenal, a sleeper of a amp for sure... Does the full tube Ampeg sound with total ease+ with a few simple twists it goes straight to a super clean modern.

    Massively impressed 💪IMG_20230408_201609.thumb.jpg.04b90a07506c6713d2436f06ac67af29.jpg

  10. Around £350 seems to be the general price. Expensive for sure...if it's well made I guess it's in a similar ball park to other premium preamp pedals (Darkglass etc).

I wonder if the cab SIM can be used out of the Quarter inch jack as well as DI? ... I know it seems pointless into a head/cab rig but I've always felt it adds something 🤷..like in the tech 21 pedals.
