The duality is such a great fuzz. Could it be described as a sleeper pedal from DG?
I love the range of the unit and am very happy with mine.
Yeah man, it's a cool sounding fuzz in the mix

That looks lovely, the neck almost looks roasted

Just been recommended to me and has a Black Friday discount...
I do like the sound of this! (Although maybe not quite enough to replace my Pigtronix Octava)
I've been wanting to try this since it came out, thought the rattler was great.
Who's the black Friday deal with Al?

I love this little DFZ version of the duality, and at practice the internal knobs are set and forget... But at home I'm a knob twiddler "Finnar Finnar"
If anyone fancies a trade for their original duality?
Its mint condition boxed etc.
Pics up later 👍

Bit of an update to my Nano+ board.
The SFT is set for an old pushed B15 / early SVT sound just for harmonic richness. Bass knocked down a bit. Barely audible drive like The Blues Brothers “She caught the Katy” tone.
The Paradriver is set for more of a rock tone with more lows and more drive. I’ve never had a Paradriver before and I’m much preferring it over the BDDI.
Is the paradriver not as colored s the BD? Always fancied trying one

Be nice if they put as much effort into a original design... But if you can't afford the original then Ali express have em at £62

I agree, £300 for a 10.1 and a 4x 10 seems crazy cheap. I think they’re also a bit of an unknown quantity. There’s now too many of them around, so a lot of people aren’t even aware of their existence. To be honest, If I didn’t love my GK Fusion 550 so much, i’d probably buy it and then just sell the cab on
The fusion 550 is one I've not tried yet but have had gas since it was released then discontinued 😒

There’s one on marketplace for £300 which includes a 4x10 cab. They don’t seem to have a very good resale value, possibly due to the reliability issues that a number of users encountered with the 10.1. They are fantastic sounding amps, trading my 5.1 is one of the few amp regrets that I have.
£300 seems a silly price for what you are getting. I love this head into my Ampeg cab 👌 , it takes everything I chuck at it.
Think mine was £480 from Andertons pre owned.
I know the bass gallery has had them around the £700 mark used, but I guess if no one's interested it's a tough one to price.
The ones that are still in the wild would more than likely have no issues by now 🤷.
Apart from being booted around by the delivery driver then fixed by Andertons I've had zero issues... And it gets a massive regular workout

I swear by the tonriders now... Have them in all my basses. I've tried many top shelfers and regardless of price these are my favourite (excellent price though)

Some good info on switch pop causes and solutions: https://www.mrblackpedals.com/blogs/straight-jive/6629778-what-really-causes-switch-pop
Well above my knowledge (which is very little 😂).
If there's any of you smart gents here that fancy a crack on my pedal for a few£ ? It'll be greatly appreciated 👌🍻
Pretty much no info on it , but it's a tweaked russian fuzz

To those in the know... I've just bought a used fuzz (which sounds fantastic) ,but the pop from the switch through my amp when turning on/off is irritatingly loud.
Would swapping out the footswitch solve this or maybe it's a design floor?
Cheers

What’s the DFZ - from a pure design pov that’s really lovely looking
It's a re format of the Darkglass duality fuzz. The demo's don't do it much justice...but it's excellent with octave

I think it’s more a case of so much saturation in the effects market people are constantly looking for the next thing rather than objectively using an effect because of the sound and sticking with it.
It’s de rigeur to chop and change pedals, the case designs have become as important as the sounds they make, you’ve only got to look at some of the boards on this thread to see people are as taken by the way they look as much as/if not more than the sound.
With such a bewildering array of pedal choice nowadays I think people find it hard to stick with something in the long run. And building a board and maintaining it is as much of a hobby as playing judging by the size of some of the boards on this thread.
I’m not judging at all, each to their own and if that’s what floats your boat then go for it.
Fickle as it sounds ,I agree the look of a pedal is also quite important (to me)
