7.
our rhythum/lead guitarist has just left due to work commitments, we aren't sure if we gonna look for a 4th member as our practices with just the 3 of us when the guitarist missed practice were good.

the problem i had was that the drop in volume when theres a solo is huge! i use a distortion on one part of our songs but im looking into getting a big muff, i dnt truely understand the sansamp? as isn't it a preamp?

i want something that will thincken out my sound to fill the space that the guitar left? i know it won't sound the same but something close, im in the process of getting the oc-3 boss super octave pedal im hoping that will work a bit, but what do some of you guys use?

    andy
not a lover of the old octave pedal myself(makes the sound all over the place!!)good for a guitarist!the t.rex pedal is fab gives you overdrive and a boost in 1 for the soloey bits,or you could fill it out with a synth(digitech one is a bit cack thou)

According to the manual the minimum impedance is 4 ohms, which the internal speakers are already running at. You shouldn't add another cab to that set up.
??why would there be a 2nd speaker exstention jack output port in the back of the amp if you can't add?

  9. ive got a hartke 2500 combo and want to get a extension cab for it not sure what ohms it is??i used to have a 400w calsbro 8ohm cab i used to use on it and it blasted out a good un,i was thinking of a vx210 cab which is 200w 8ohms or peavey tvx210 175@8ohms,or might go for a small 15" mag/laney ritcher 15"just im not giging much now and need to downsize on a budget! :-(
any recomendations????(this cab is an extra to the 210s already in my combo)
    thanks dan

  10.
it would be amp and cab or a combo
hmm very tight budget for new mate :-( look around hard and a laney 300w 210 combo might come up as can be found cheap(also a cracking amp!)but from a shop for £200 wont be very good for giging, but if just for home you would be fine

  11. i got a hartke 2500 combo, not to sure a bout what ohm cab to get as an extension??i used to have a 400w calsbro 8ohm cab i used to use on it and it blasted out a good un,i was thinking of a vx210 cab which is 200w 8ohms or peavey tvx210 175@8ohms,or might go for a small 15" mag/laney ritcher 15"just im not giging much now and need to downsize on a budget! :-(

  12. if its just the amp?the hartke 2500 head is great value and sound for the cash(around £190 mark on ebay)if its a combo you wont get anything good new!!shop around for a secondhand one be miles better, alot of bargains out there :-)a little bit extra £270 and you could get a peavey tnt 15" combo(very loud clean bit o kit)

  13.
Looks like your combo's internal speakers are 4 ohm nominal impedance and that's also the amp's minimum so extension speakers needs to be either identical 4 ohm cabs and then specially wired in series (complicated!) or you can use a more sensitive 4 or 8 ohm cab and use it with the internal speakers disconnected. My gut feeling is you're probably better off shifting it and looking for a secondhand head/cab if it isn't loud enough.

cheers mate,i used to have a 400w calsbro 8ohm cab i used to use on it and it blasted out a good un,i was thinking of a vx210 cab which is 200w 8ohms or peavey tvx210 175@8ohms,or might go for a small 15" mag/laney ritcher 15"just im not giging much now and need to downsize on a budget! :-(
