2017 American Professional in Candy Apple Red. Has after market black pickguard from WD music, original cream one is included too.
Two small dings that I've tried to photograph.
These have the great sounding V-mod pickup, the 1963 P-bass neck profile and narrow but tall frets. It plays great and sounds like a precision should.
Comes with original case and all its case candy including original tags.
Postage possible at buyers expense.
No trades please.
I've not used this forum for some time but I'm sure I've got a feedback thread somewhere. Here are some photos.
*edit* A few people have enquired about the weight. She's just over 4.1kg.

I'm into that.
Are there dot markers under the stickers or is it blank?

Hey all,
Today is a great day. I've always wanted a year of birth instrument and let's be honest, the late 80s were not a good time for Fender. However things were going pretty well in West Germany.
Here is my new 1987 Warwick Thumb. I'm it's second owner, the first bought it from Warwick direct. I spotted it on ebay with less than 2 hours remaining and knew I had to have it. The owner delivered it today because couriers are a nightmare at the moment. It's been played, loved and looked after. Here are some photos. I really couldn't be happier with it.
I've done the obligatorty send some photos to Warwick in the hopes of getting any more info on its history. It sounds like a thumb should too. It's taking a bit of getting used to. I'm always 3 frets higher up than I think I am.
Here are the photos. I've never seen the edges of a pickup wear in this way before. It's in incredible condition I think.
Enjoy!

I'd love this but need to shift my Lakland first.

Thanks for IDing it for me guys.
From a distance I thought it was a Wal but then I noticed the pickups and the head stock being wrong.
It reminds me of the Epi Embassy bass a bit.

@Osiris Thanks for your response buddy,
It turns out a guy I know has the helix floor, so I'm gonna go have a play with that at some point and make a decision from there.
I imagine the stomp will be "enough" but I'll probably spend the money on the LT because in my experience enough is never actually enough.
-
Hi guys, I'm really tempted by a helix and wondering whether I should and if its worth getting the LT or Stomp. I'd appreciate some input/experience.
I'm planning to use it live into my mark bass LM3 and barefaced super twin, i currently use a sans amp BDDI which will probably go into retirement if I go ahead with the helix. I use the Mark bass with the EQ completely flat and let the sans amp cover all pre amp duties.
I mostly play in a metal band with one guitar. We downtune to A# and I tend to be equal parts rhythm guitarist and bass player. To that end I'd be looking to have the helix split my signal with a cross over, have the high end run through some dirt and the low end through a compressor, maybe adding an amp sim to one or both.
Is this something it can do in my circumstances live? Have I missed the point completely? Would I be better off with the stomp or LT do we think?

Hey bud, would you be interested in a tribute L2000 as a trade on this?
-
They're a force to be reckoned with.

I bought a second hand classic 50s after recording with one for a spell. Loved the bass so I had to have one, and one came up that had the JJ Burnell look, only problem was it also had an SPB-3 and no original pickup. It didn't last long.

It's literally identical to the SR 600 series. Great bass. I love mine.
