1.
Just checked my manual. Definitely EQ post FX. You're only chance then is to use the DI on the first amp to drive the return on the second amp and DI from the second amp if you need to. That would work, but would add noise (and eq) to your final DI
I have thought about that, too. But the signal would pass the eq stage on the second amp as well. One more thing to worry about.
 2.
I wouldnt think it would be easy to. But why not get a MOMark with no eq, just an input and an output volume..... Or as close as you can - ie speak to knowledgable dealer type.
That would be an option. I'd still need a post eq output feed from the first head.
 3. a bit of background info: I really like the way my SA450 sounds. But it can't handle the 2.67 ohms of my three Aggie GS112's load After looking for a 2ohms capable head (and not yet having found something I dig), a friend suggested that I should buy a second MB head. Now the "problem" is the following: I would like to use the second MB head as a slave unit (power amp style). Namely using a post-eq line out/fx send of the first head to a post eq line in/fx return But the MB's fx loops is pre-eq. So there is no input that bypasses the whole preamp/eq. Does anyone know if the Markbass can be modded that way? I already contacted Markbass via their website, but got no reply.
 4. Boss Octave OC2 OC-2 Black Label Selling this Boss Octave OC-2 with Black Label The black lables were the first ones made in Taiwan with leftover parts from the Japan Series. I just got the pedal but I can't use it as the output of my active Sadowsky PJ ist too hot for this pedal. With my passive bass, the pedal sounds just great. Looking to get 75£
 5. I sold my Demeter Compulator to hybass. Paiment was very promptly. Thanks again.
 6. pbass67 sold me his Aguilar GS112. I am very glad! Thumbs up.
 7.
Berg HS410, NV610 or a Barefaced Vintage. The BFB Big One might do it for me, mind..
I'd use my Sadowsky SA410 ...
 8. Don't sell the cabs! I would try a Markbass amp, though!
 9.
sorry I criticised your colour, mate, but 3 stacked together just looks great! I bet it sounds great as well. Well envious. (Thinks to self.....mmm, need 3 in White Hot....)
Well, I have a 3rd GS112 coming in from pbass67. I will power it with a Mesa Fathom (M6).
 10.
Thanks.. I have heard about the scooped mids and I think I can live with that...
I put Eminence DeltaLite 12 SeriesII woofers into mine and it took care of the mid scoop instantly. ....and they are much lighter now!
 11.
If its really big bottom you want then I would have to suggest a Barefaced Vintage or BigOne. The Berg ae410 is superb, but the HS410 has more low-mid bump, so that may suit you more. Either way Berg is about as good as it gets IMO (see sig), its just which Berg you need to choose. If you have the readies for that kind of gear (Berg) and you want to hear a bunch of options get in contact with poptart (Mark) on here, and go and see him in his shop (www.bassdirect.co.uk). He will have just the thing I promise , your wallet will not forgive you, but every time you hear your rig you wont care If you want to experience the Barefaced kit then check out the BigOne and Compact tours in the Barefaced forum, you can borrow one for a week and try it out on a gig, then pass it on. Couldnt be a better way to work out if its right for you or not...
I got a Sadowsky SA410 up for sale It is the original Bergantino HS410 design!
 12.
deal fell through!
SOLD in a local deal
 13.
Interested in a fender 400 pro head with built in Fender rt1000rack tuner?
Not really, but thanks anyway.
 14.
If this is anything like the Bergantino HS410, then it will be stunning. I can also vouch for the DB212s! Quite a rare cabinet in the UK as most go for the DB112 x 2 setup, but after I thought about it, the DB212 is lighter, has casters, and I could add another cab to make it VERY loud. Good luck
Indeed, the HS410 has been introduced just after Jim Bergantino designed the SA410 for Sadowsky. I know, I am bit mad to sell this 4x10" but after another gig last night, I feel even more sure that I am a 12" guy.
 15. Adding the Ashdown ABM500 EVO (original series) to the trade list. Preferaby the RC rack version. Markbass F1/F500 or LMTube is another option
 16. Just came back from a gig with the Ampeg. Now I am convinced that I need a "clearer" amp!!!!
 17.
How much you looking for as a straight cash sale?
Well, I paid 800€ for the amp 3 months ago. That would make about 730£. I am aware that the £/€ exchange rate isn't very favorable for the Brits right now.
 18.
Hi Both my NYC and Metro Sadowsky basses have sadowsky's own Hum canceling pickups! They sound great but both basses sound very similar which leads to the Metro not being played as much as i'd like.......... so im thinking about putting some Wizard 84's (single coils) in the Metro to see if they give that bass a more old school vibe! Has anyone had any experience with 84's in an active bass? any thoughts or opinions welcome cheers
I'd go for the Sadowsky Single Coils!!
 19. I am definitely a 12" lover. So, after much debate with myself, I would like to sell my Sadowsky SA410 cab Very few of the Sadowsky cabs have been made. Designed and built for Sadowsky Audio by Jim Bergantino, the SA410's increased efficiency maximises volume when paired with moderate wattage amplifiers. Have a look at the Sadowsky website: http://www.sadowsky.com/audio/cabs.html Here are the specs: • 10" woofers with 56 oz. magnets, 2.5" voice coils, vented pole pieces • Compression horn tweeter with integral phase plug • Custom, phase-coherent crossover with tweeter level control • Frequency Response: 45hz-16khz • Power Handling: 800 watts • Sensitivity: 103db 1 watt/1 meter • Impedance: 4 ohms • Dimensions: 22 3/4" W x 25 1/2" H x 15 1/2" D • Weight: 86 lbs. The SA410 is in a rather good condition, except for some fuzzy "rat fur" on ne side. Please have a look at the pictures: http://homepage.mac.com/gillesloes/ I'd like to get 700€/650£ confidence check: my ebay user name is gillento and I have 200+ auctions with 100% positive feedback.
 20. I am looking to trade my Ampeg V4BH. It is from 2002 and is almost as new. It comes with a cover by d2fcovers.com. It would like to have an Aguilar db751 (+ cash from my side). I am trading this as apparently I am no all tube guy. edit: Adding the Ashdown ABM500 EVO (original series) to the trade list. Preferaby the RC rack version. Markbass F1/F500 or LMTube is another option. 730£ /800€ for a straight sale (shipped anywhere in Europe) That is what I paid for the amp in August.
 21.
Thank God for that. Now I don't have to get annoyed that I couldn't raise the necessary. Great news G
I am glad you see it that way too:)
