  4. My Bass Pod XT went to live with Andy. Quick and friendly PM's and payment arrived with no fuss. Nice and easy sale all round... thankin' you kindly.
  5. If you started on page 1 of this feedback thread and made it this far, you deserve to know the truth about Jack. A bazillion BC'ers before me would have you believe that Jack communicates with speed and eloquence in equal measure, that Jack is a nice chap who pays for the things he buys on time. Disappointingly, I can confirm that those bazillion other BC'ers aren't part of an elaborate scam, it's all true. Absolutely nothing to see here - buy/sell/trade with confidence.
  6. Hey peeps, Do we have any BC'ers who use Reaper as a DAW? If so, can I ask you to take 5 seconds to help out with a little crusade? It'll be your good deed for the day I'm trying to talk the developers of Reaper into setting aside a bit of time to make Reaper accessible to blind musicians. Currently, I'm struggling to find a DAW that meets my production and composition needs, and Reaper is pretty close to being the go-to solution. There are a ton of other musos/students/writers in the same boat who would make use of this too. It's a pretty simple and well documented development task (a days worth of work). If you use Reaper and have an account on their forum, please go here and click "yes" to show some support. NO pressure to leave a comment, but if you want to wax lyrical don't hold back. Basically, the more support I can drum up, the more likely this is to happen. Linkage: http://forum.cockos.com/project.php?issueid=3888 Cheers, hopefully this won't be regarded as spamtastic by the moderators! Scott
  7. Still not parting with your B3K then? The wait is killing me y'know!
  8. Cheers Wilco, wondered when you'd pop your head round the door Sunday bumpage.

  10. Noticed a few people looking for Corvettes in other threads, so this is back up for sale peeps. Have at it.
  11. Bump. Offers considered (even silly ones) if you can transfer funds before Friday 20th. Try me...
  12. Bump and a minor update. I've just stood on my in-ear monitors, so trades for a set of iems would be snapped up. My next gig is Friday, so offers are welcome if you can transfer funds sharpish.

  15. Seems like a pretty easy fix. Wonder whether I should get this one chopped into or swap it out for different material altogether? Any recommendations of where a man who's down on his luck financially might pick up good quality nuts? (harhar) Scott
  16. Plays really well in spite of the nut. Tuning is stable, really comfy neck and frets, no dead spots that I can find and plenty of sustain. It's surprisingly well balanced too. Only slight issue I'm having with it is a tad more "string ring" than I'm used to. I'm not knew to playing 5, and my muting isn't any worse than when I'm playing my Warwick $$ 5, but the strings on this just seem to vibrate a hell of a lot easier, even though both basses are strung with the same brand/gauge. Could that be nut related? Scott
  17. Back from the dead type bump. Does anybody need a great compressor or a teeth melting distortion as much as I need their money?
  18. Sold Rick a Zoom B2.1U. PM's were friendly and payment was fast. Lovely stuff!
  19. Picked this 5er up in a local shop recently. There's absolutely no branding, so I've got no idea when it was made, who by, where abouts etc. Even the pickups are unbranded... argh! Here's some pics. Does anybody recognise her? [attachment=97323:Sexy Drag Bod.jpg] [attachment=97322:Sexy sexy drag.jpg] [attachment=97324:Drags Drags (neck) .jpg] [attachment=97325:Drag Headstock.jpg] I know practically bugger all about electronics, so the only thing I could identify when I opened her up was that the EQ is made by G&B Co. And so far, that's all I've got to go on. Thanks for any clues... Scott
  20. This isn't getting played as much as it should, for no other reason than I've just got too many basses at the minute. Two piece American alder body AAA Indian rosewood fretboard One piece Canadian rock maple neck (with a nice grain pattern on the back!) 34" scale, with a very smooth purry low B Only two made with this finish, so you won't be seeing another one of these out on the circuit Trim pot in the rear cavity for adjusting the pickup gain (this is the hottest output I've ever played with the pot on max, so if that's your thing...) 3 band EQ, with a good punchy low end and nice zingy top Maverick's custom rollery knobs for pickup level (they look cool, and are very practical to tweak on the fly) These aren't being manufactured anymore, but they retailed at £599 originally. You'd be it's 3rd owner, and it's been well looked after by the two chaps who had it before you. Looking for £350, and as much as it pains me, I can't say I'm looking for any trades (need monies, not toys). You'd be welcome to come and have a play if you're close enough to South West London. [attachment=97318:Slightly Artistic Mav Shot.jpg] [attachment=97319:Mav body.jpg] [attachment=97320:Mav Headstock.jpg] [attachment=97321:Mav's Scratches.jpg] (Can't be seen when he's being played, but for the sake of full disclosure, here's a pic of a couple of small dinks) Thanks for looking, drop me a PM if she tickles your fancy. Scott
