  1. I’d happily pay £500 but £650 might be a push. Dunno. Is it worth £650 to you?
  2. It’s not a 94. Fender Japan handily reuse, mix up and have no real use for serial numbers. I remember the press release sheet being sent to us and I worked in a shop 2003-2014. Think the domestic Japanese market had them a year or so before the UK.
  3. Not 1994, remember the release of these in about 2003/4. i love that blue
  4. Worth it for sh*ts and giggles?
  5. I’d like one of their J basses with that headstock shape...the only thing putting me off any G&L ever. Including and ASAT I fell in love with but couldn’t get over that tin opener thing.
  6. We need to hear this now! my first decent gig was Weller on the Heavy Soul tour at the Manchester Apollo, he ended up with Noel Gallagher on stage that night - at the time Oasis were huge and it made quite an impression on 12/13 year old me.
  7. @Cuzzie you need a good bridge for anything?
  8. Kinky. It was sleeping about
  9. Yeah. I think it’s your/my bass in the picture from 2015
  10. Just came up on Timehop
  11. I totally get your point. in saying that - I really like being able to adjust a bass to fit to me. The running joke is that whenever people play my basses they buzz and rattle...’unplayable’. if the neck is “set” the parameters for adjustment are also set. The neck off truss rod adjustment is a poor design and apart from period accurate reissues - I don’t see the point, in fact I don’t think they exist outside of that genre. And if you buy into the reissue thing you have to take it on the chin. the shim thing - if done properly...can be very effective.
  12. These are cute - after a couple of goes with 32” I must say it’s not for me. but telecaster shaped basses (baron/asat) really work visually for me. G is a top bloke, love the guy. Buy with confidence.
  13. Seasons.(waiting on you) by Future Islands. first time I ever heard it was when this performance was sent to me. Absolutely love this band and their lead singer is just very charismatic; looks like he should be a geography teacher. But the passion in the performance, no arrogance - just performance.
  14. Hohohohoh. The plot thickens. Thickens it does...phwoaaar. Go on.
  15. Quite fancy one of these - and this finish too. Just bought the old flea Modulus so I’m skint...shame as this seems a great deal.
  16. I like that jazz
  17. It’s properly lovely. Makes me giddy. Rehearsal was cancelled on Monday so got to wait until this coming Monday to hear it in a band setting. but I’m smitten.
  18. Nice that. i know my old one is coming up for sale. Can’t afford either 🙄
  19. Flubbin eck...
  20. If I was in the market this would be gone - the only one of the “new” BB basses I really fancy. love that dark Teal. shouldn’t be around long, alas I’m broke via a modulus purchase...
  21. When you’ve said you snagged it for £90... er...😂
