1. Markbass Momark 800 head with T1M valve preamp (with mute switch), 42S 4 band parametric EQ and MVV master section. This head is in excellent condition and sounds fantastic. It has a huge amount of headroom (800w @ 4 ohms, 500w @ 8ohms), and a full, warm valvey sound. I’ve had the head for around 18 months, and it has had mainly home use and a few rehearsals in that time. I’ve switched to a two channel head as it allows my Mrs to plug her Korg SV1 into my amp for monitoring on stage. As shown in the pictures, all the original packaging, manuals/bumph, rack ears, kettle lead and module boxes are included. I’m located in Margate but can post if necessary. I may consider a trade with a cab/pair of cabs. Let me know what you've got
2.
Great rig, and I'd love to know what's lurking in the background behind it! GLWTS Margus!
Do you still have my old blue Jazz, Margus? Lovely.
3.
What sort of trades would tickle your fancy sir?
Ideally I'm after a 70s Porsche 911, or a Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. If you have anything else to offer though, drop me a PM.
4. T-Rex Bass Squeezer compressor/booster/funk maker/noise stopper. Great pedal, includes original power supply, box etc. Pics will be added asap.
5. Bump for a bass with an interesting past. Better pictures to follow.
6. I'll hopefully get a chance to update the pictures over the weekend. I'm open to cash offers or trades with cash my way. Cheers
7. The bass weighs 8lb 12 and comes with the original off-white pickguard, as well as the Sadowsky tortoise shell number currently fitted.
8. I've decided to offer up my Sadowsky Jazz. It's a beautiful thing, but unfortunately the joys of home ownership are proving to be slightly more wallet-bashing than I'd envisaged.. I bought this after trying a load of 70's Fenders and not liking any of them. I eventually worked out that what I wanted, wasn't what I wanted, and that in actual fact, I wanted one of these! It's the most versatile bass I've owned. The passive tone control allows you to adjust the overall feel of the instrument (in active and passive modes), and achieve the perfect tone. It's all very well sounding like Marcus Miller all the time (he seems to do well out of it), but for a lot of tracks/gigs, you need the smooth thump of a P bass. Solo the neck pickup, roll back the passive tone control, boost the bass slightly and you're 99% there. It's in good condition, but has a few marks here and there. It's just like this http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/bass_guitars_detail.asp?stock=13082714360549 I'm in Margate. I'd prefer collection, but can post if necessary. Sorry for the awful pictures, I'll put some decent ones up when my camera is back in action. 9. Yep, that's right. I've used them in the past with great results, but rounds seem to work better on my latest P.
10. I've just put these on my newly acquired P and within about 2 minutes decided I prefer rounds. They are fresh out of the packet. The D and G are uncut, the E and A naturally have had about an inch trimmed off for fitment. They are 45 - 105 standard gauge. I paid £30 + postage for them. I'm after £20 plus postage. My fickle mind = your gain!
11. Purchased a Precision from Lozz, great guy to deal with and he even dropped it off in person. Cheers mate.
12.
Bollocks! I've just trawled to the end of the thread to find it sold! I really wanted to trade for my Compact.... Never mind.
Typical!
13. Thanks for the interest, but this is now sold.
14. Pm'd you Jamie.
15. It's definitely ''Gert beefo''! I don't really want to post it, mainly due to the agro of finding a box big enough, buy for those interested, it should cost around the £40 mark with insurance.
16. Plenty of interest, but it's still here type bump.
17.
Jay, I don't suppose you want package it up and send it to Carlisle do you?
Pm'd
18. It can indeed. I wouldn't want to go any great distance carrying it with one hand, but as it has casters fitted, you don't need to. I seem to remember reading somewhere that it's around the 22kg mark, which seems about right. HxWxD - 1000x610x340.
19. Buy this > paint it orange > attach ad200b > take over the world.
20. Are you not in to two-tone? Actually, I couldn't advise the use of two of these. You'd be in terrible peril.
21. Thanks guys, agreed! I should of mentioned that it's also for sale.
