1. P.s. If you've got one or something similar for sale, do let me know!
2. I am very close to pulling the trigger on one of these for £200, but having doubts... I'll mainly want to be using this for big filter sweeps, with fuzz and whammy in front (for 5th harmony). Perhaps a stupid question, but does it do this well? Better than an EHX Bass Microsynth for example? Is it really worth the money, or are there cheaper and better alternatives (IE Xerograph, etc)? Any help or comments will be much appreciated! Thanks, Al
3. Does anyone use one of these on bass? How does it sound? Better/worse than the Bass Whammy? Does the lack of true bypass really affect the tone when the pedal's turned off? I've been offered one of these for £200 and very tempted to go for it, but it is a lot for something that I can't help finding a little gimmicky! Any opinions will be much appreciated!
4. Bump
5. Recently bought from Lenny B with the intention to mod it, but now bought Paul_5's modded Muff so this is no longer required! Works fine, few scratches. SOLD Shown in pic below with other pedals for sale!
6. 80s Japan-made delay unit. Think this came between the DD-2 and DD-3, and it has a great delay on it! Works fine, only issue is that the "Level" knob has been snapped off. It's still possible to adjust the stub with your finger, but obviously not great for on-the-fly adjustments during gigs! Sold (pending payment)
7. Turbo Rat - This is an old one with the LM308 chip. Works fine apart from the footswitch, which is playing up a little and may need replacing. Cosmetically a few scratches and the screw from the battery cover is missing (the battery cover's there though!) SOLD. Shown in pic below with other pedals for sale!
8. Hi All! I'm currently stuck in a bit of a rut with the technical stuff that I'm practicing along to, things like Mars Volta, Jamiroquai, Rush etc that I know too well and am not really benefitting from! Wondered if anyone had examples of any great new bands or even songs with interesting, technical technical bass-lines that I might not have heard? Any contributions will be much appreciated! :-) Thanks, Al
9. Can I have the Sparkle Drive please, if it's still going!?
10. You have a PM!
11. Bought Si's Aguilar DB 924 and paid for it yesterday...Received it today! Amazingly quick postage, and his communication's top-notch! It's been a pleasure to do business with you mate :-) Al
12. Traded my Precision Bass for James' Jazz Bass. Fantastic communication and a pleasure to deal with. We met to do the trade, and had a great chat :-) Highly recommended! Al
13. Back from holiday bump! This is still going...
14. Hi! I don't have any scales at home, so it'd take me a while to give you an exact weight I'm afraid... It is very light though, I've previously had a '73 which was about 4 times the weight of this. It's also lighter than the Spector NS2 that I have currently. Not sure whether that makes it good/bad for you, but that's the fact! Will send the exact weight through if I'm able to ascertain it anytime soon. Let me know if you have any more questions.
15. Price drop! £900. I'm up for putting money in to get what I want! Any interest?...
16. Amendments...Now looking to trade for a Pre-EB/early EB Stingray, Sabre OR 60's US RI Jazz Bass! Come on, this is a really fantastic Precision! After going through three, I've decided they're just not the bass for me...
17. Bump! Still intending to add btter pics, but lacking time! This is a fantastic precision though, recently given a full service. Sounds brilliant with the Wizard pickup, and in very good condition! The bare-wood mark visible in the pics above is the only bit of "damage"... Anyone at all interested in trading their Stingray or Sabre, let me know! If Anyone's London-based, you're welcome to pop over to try it out!
