1. Thank you!great INFOS! From what you linked appears Pre board are different, though still good. Also It seems pre board could be upgraded in the previous model, though i don think is so good "as a deal". great deal on how it is (maybe the guy would lower to 280 /300 € shipped, which is a good price i believe)
2. that's interesting. i can ask about overheating to the seller (who also modded the amp to 700 he told me today). Can you clear to me better what i should ask in particular?how did cause problem that overheating,or how it was acknowledgable? Abou tone also i'm curios ,if is the same or not on the 2 versions
3. Hallo Guys. I have a chance to a deal on a (out of warranty off course) 1001Rb (not MkII) .It will be under 270£ (about 350E at max) On the american forum ,i found people telling th. the "old" head ,aside of power output, has significant differences in terms of tone, and new ones were significant better ,expecially in upper registers. I 've thought to ask Here , du to the the fact that ,Probably, More people In England did try The old head and had the chance to compare. ..Any tip that could Help me? ........ As a side note, I'm PRETTY undecided between that Gk1001 and a SA450.Very different heads ,but i found a good deal on sa450 too (about 450€ ), and i like both for different manners. My main question is not Mb Vs Gk ,just the differencebetween GK version. If thishas already ben discussed , iwould accept gladly aLink (did'nt find any discussion about). THANKS IN ADVANCE to everyone willing To help
4. Customs Duties is question of "luck" ,at least here where i live. Item location is dodgy ,and happened to me TOO many times. At least is not the kind of people who sell from "europe"and actually let ship stuff from USA(it happen often and luckily i 've avoided a couple of times). Thanks
5. Its Uk based or USa based That shop? Because from The auction it looks He ships from Usa,so Customs Duties involved.
6. well someone bidded on It . And if It was 5ver ,then it would be me.. just i would have to look for a red-nose Pick and a blonde curly wig to gig along , and then it would be youtube shot for Your eyes-pleasure.. ..but is 4 ,so my dignity get a short relief for now
7. Oh men ,for the 6 string of mine It would be a blessing(THE SAME COVER-color THAn MINE).too bad is 5ver. Also i have a MM5 Cort gb75 ,and is Lakland (wider style than regular ).I'm eating my nails ,is tasty looking
8. 5 string and i would Try It (alone ,At my house ,hidden).. Welll i 've missed That 80' touch as i was jung ,always wanted To Feel what it means Playing with a clown-bass
9. I was speaking in general terms..Not Just You. Try To think when other people use short terms and so on. For the rest ,Not useful to repeat what i did already posted,it's just likei said Looking anyway that those things happen expecially to You ..already a Swedish one . Well Anyway .."if Your Auction does'nt end well",i can contact You later on " regards People
10.
it's the EuroTards who insist upon placing bids

Usually I make things available to Europe - but there are some simple little rules for people to follow if they want to bid, which are in big, important-looking red writing at the front of every listing! Even if they don't speak English, it's noticeable enough that they might just think about Babelfishing it, surely?
You can't Imagine how FAR from The original meaning has a babelfish translation. It can Definetely happen , that If You put Available- in- Europe with "exceptions",the bidder does'nt realize clearly Those. 2) With All respect possible for Your Thoughts it happened To me to buy stuff from England , where the seller did'nt want originally send To Italy ,and i just asked "if That does'nt sell now ,than could i purchase? etc etc ".. And I don't feel so "retarded" With the beautiful pedal or preamp i have now in my house (off course it is valid If the english grammar of the overseaser is at least barely understandable..not like mine is very often i fear ) _____-__ That little Thing aside ,Out of Curiosity : I'm Italian ,and i've noticed That a LOT of "european auction" don't get catched By italian Ebay_search Engine ..and The same APPLied for USA_stuff!. Stuff available for overseasers Does'nt appear on the search ,so I use the *.com Address for the researches I care REally.
11. Thank You JON, it's Hong kong based though, and Customs In Italy are delaying stuff from china and Hong kong at random , That' why i've asked In europe at the first post. Appreciated ,Anyway Glad to receive Tips and Links.
12. Thanks, Nordie's Are quite expensive though (and wood _tronics has to order anyway, not being that model in catalog). Never Heard the MM armstrong, though i heard the soapbars sound Good.Anyway On the link is 4 string version Listed Only ,for 5 string there is not that model. Advices appreciated ,Thank You very Much Guys for Your time You did spend helping me. Alex
13. hello guys , i was looking to replace a pu mm . i have a 5-string cort gb75, cheap (but surprisingly good!!!!!) bass, in "HS"configuration ; The bass is equipped with a "Mighty mite" pickups, Which does his Job ,but i feel relly It could improve with another pickup. I know Duncans and other fampus brands should be the best choice , but are not a cheap Pickup if You don find Used , And ALSO I don't find here in italy the correct size (Mine is a "lakland style" MM), So paying a luthier to route the bass plus new pickups would cost almost like the bass itself. I heard Great things about ARTEC pickups, cheap and good But i can't find In Europe the MM for 5 string. If Anyone knows A link i would be glad. Finally: In England,i found A E*ay-Shop called "Papa D's Music Store who sells a Cheap MM, Anyone of You tried that One? Sounds Good?" The seller ,KINDLy told me those pickups are made by "SMA industries in Korea". Just would like To avoid another REBADGED MIGHTY ,OR a Wilkinson (tried a Wilkinson Once and did'nt like at all, very poor pickup,Mighty mite is even better ). If YOu can Help Me ,Thank You in advance Guys!
14. well I don think the c is so on the edge . Its really appealing to me ,just as ponted from other people the Extra-wood chosen for the fretboard (ebony aside) is probably too soft for a fretless_use.. i Would like to check His Website(if Any) to check the rest of his work , the shape of the boDy (noT the siglecut_part..) really owns!
15.
THen is just "Optycal Joke",sorry.
yep I quote my self in that case. Sorry again,i meant just to warn (having also seen the "0 feedbacks") ,in the case to avoid possible scum. It really looked different to my eyes (its photo perspective)
16. THen is just "Optycal Joke",sorry. I 've just seen that photo and i got the impression it was a difference Here the shape seems different from the photo posted (body ,near the bridge on the up/right of the photo)
17. Interesting stuff , BUT *****EDIT_:Photo perspective betrayed ny eyes, should be the same bass on the various photos,as ponted by Alpha-Dave***** ANd its 0 Feedback User ..maybe just a mistake But take care Guys. I would ask for the seller something more ,to understand better..or i would contact the Luthier outside ebay if is a known person,to check if he is the sam person. Regards, Alex
18. Yep i Also gived up to auctions where seller told me 4% fees,is a normal fee for credit card also. If i can give a (not requested )advice i would write in the auction something like "contact me if You want to use paypal" and then tell you want to SHARE the fees. 1 time i bought at that conditions, as the price for the item was worthy (at the end is that what bothers..) or simply Raise the price of the auction. A "disadvantage" for paypal users is generally not a good idea on Evil-bay,being the most used way to pay. ANyway,Good luck with the sale!
19. Thank You Guys For the info! . I was wondering about compression stage since i would need a good one. and How that one compares to other compression rack or pedals. and havong more effects would be a nice bonus,Though is years th. i don experiment with effects . ------------------------------------------------------------------ About pod: I have bass pod first version, which i like more than Xt. AND Anyway don like so much the sound. I've Used Mainly (and USEFULLY) as a DI on medium/big stages ,Doubling the signal ,1 From my own rig on stage With effect/EQ (bass knife sounding but just on stage) and the not_effected_1 going to the mixers Guys That's why i had noticed th. My rack/rig became less important , and more important was Hearing myself.. (live mixers/mixer guys mess Your sound almost always in big stages,so better feed them with clarity more than giving them "Your sound" to adjust) A compromise i had to do due to the kind of music i was playing back there. again ,Many thanks
20. I thought that thing was a Guitar_oriented machine I would like to know what Is so good for bass guitar in that one (comp section, effects or whatever) i 've always disliked DIgital_all_in_one solutions ,finding those tone-destroyng. If someone has a tip,or a link to a discussion (BASS related) about this piece of gear, i would be very glad to check!
21. Thanks Chris. Interesting th. You are a builder.Your comments ,In the good and in the "bad",will be interesting to compare. Internet is great, you collect from overseas infos on Your neighbour ^_^ Hope to check also your works soon. regards Mr
22. Guys work near my city. their basses have a "Guitar_like action" ,really awesome . Remarkable instruments , out of my price range. They are new on the market, but were building basses from long time i guess. I heard them, but did'nt try personally. Personal taste about shapes: Interesting the single cut With a "double cut_like"shape , still not the best for me, but miles better from the "classic"singlecut . They offer also a "classic Foderish _1_version" singlecut , which i Don like. I went lucky to buy an Aries 6 string (croatian liuther) for a resonable price,i'll look further on the "used"market to try a WoodandTronics one, When they will be. I need always some time to comment a bass_tone. _______________________ I think you will not be disappointed. !! Expecially the 33" scale Is an interesting thing to test ,i never tried one,i wonder about the lowB (if is B5er or 6er) and the "tension"of the lowb itself ??How you knew the guy th. he loans to you the bass?? Very kind from Him. Regards ,alex
23. No problem i did believe it was a model i did'nt know about. That baby has to go ,really interesting head.
24. Just out of curiosity ,could you ponit me at the feature page ? I did never see a model with 700+75W , always 700+50W,even on product page. Blame i'm italian ,i would like to try one ,i bet i could fall in true love with it .
