BUMP - Last few hours of bidding and only at around £60....yikes!
-
I am always suspicious of sunburst basses/guitars that get to black before the forearm contour, are they hiding the fact the body is ply?
-
I nearly bid on that...seems a good price for plenty of cheap power!
-
Will take this to PM. SOLD, ladies and gents.
-
Lovely, any chance you can collect tomorrow during the day at all? I work in St Albans so can sling it in the back of the car...i'm in the centre of town
Cheers!
James -
If you're quick off the mark, I'll do it for £60 as a Basschat discount
-
Back up for sale folks....need the space!
-
No worries, that's part of the fun of ebay
-
That is an Antoria/Cimar
Lovely looking thing, but they don't sound that great in the main....if it's tone and reliability you are after, I'd pass... -
Do the gig, those people that HAVE bought tickets are no doubt looking forward to seeing you.
Do it and enjoy it!
Cheers,
James -
I think to be fair to the ebay bidders, it's probably best to let the auction run, so please feel free to bid!!
Cheers,
James -
Yup, I have listed on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=330344942961
Hoping it goes to a good home, but I just don't have the space to keep it - if I did, it'd stay cased up all the time and that's a crime!
Cheers,
James -
If you like to go really deep, what about adding a 1x15" to your existing setup? The 4x10s are great in the Ashdown range, but I would call them punchy rather than deep. A nice 15" could give you the low end thump, whilst leaving the combo to deal with the mids and highs better.
Cheers,
James -
The OP does say it's a cut and paste from Harmony Central. To be honest, I don't know what the point is really, as reviews on Harmony Central fall into:
a). OMG I DROPPED IT DOWN THE STAIRZ AND NOW IT WONT WORK. POS TBH WASTE OF $$$ NOT EVEN MADE IN THE USA FOREIGN POS
or
b). IVE JUST GOT BACK FROM THE STORE WITH THIS AND HAVENT PLAYED IT YET BUT ITS THE BEST PIECE OF GEAR IVE EVER USED EVAR. USA MADE TOO SO NO FOREIGN POS TBH LOL
So, as I say, limited use (TBH LOL)
Cheers,
James -
SOLD ladeez and gents!
Thanks,
James -
Trouble is, I have literally no clue how much to offer and basing this on my budget, wouldn't want to be insulting
-
Status basses are just not 'hip' right at the moment...there's still a big retro Punk-esque thing going on and the market is for vintage-y looking stuff.
-
Am I being a dork? I can't see a price listed...
-
Pretty much said this in the headline

VX115 in great condition, has had castors fitted but these will be removed....
Collection only, or I can do a meetup for diesel costs in and around Hertfordshire.
Cheers,
James -
If you'll pardon the expression, do you get 'down south' much?
Interested in one if not both of the cabs...but based in Stevenage. I am up in Worcestershire this weekend though.
Cheers,
James -
Okay, need this gone as GAS has attacked. £160 takes it. I shan't be dropping lower than that though as it's a storming bass and I'd rather keep as a spare!
Cheers,
James -

Am happy to hold it for you if you need to wait till next week?
-
I should add that I'll chuck in a really good quality gig bag with this for the sale price!
Cheers,
James

Hi mate,
I'll take that please, if we could meet half way? I'd be coming from Stevenage, so it's an A10/M25 jobby.
PM me if possible?
Cheers,
James
