1. AKG's for me every time. K240's look ideal. They are what I'm going for. I already have K701's for my stereo and they are by far the best headphones I've ever heard.
2. Damn! took my eye off the ball. I've been after one of these as backup. let me know if Seb changes his mind please.
3. Ah, never mind. Its active subs I'm after. Great price either way.
4. Great price for an X3, you will literally not find one going at this price anywhere. And Paulo's a great guy to deal with.
5. Greg bought my Roland V-bass. Top Guy and a no-hassle deal. Cheers Greg.

7. "I think you're going to struggle with that. The V-Bass system itself isn't Midi, and the Midi-out exporting functions are very limited: you can use it to save patches to a computer and re-load them, but that's really about it. Fun piece of kit though. I'm still using mine quite a lot. I think it's priced to sell at £250." What he said. Cheers for that.
8. Back up for sale. Great piece of kit and I've thoroughly enjoyed playing with it for a few weeks but in my current situation, I'm just not using even a fraction of its potential. I was looking into using it to triggering a rack mounted synth etc., but that ain't gonna happen in my present band..
9. Stingray now sold within 5 hours on Ebay!
10. Pete, I agree, this is a bad time to sell, but its a great time to be a buyer. As long as you have spare cash there are some real bargains to be had. I sadly don't. Chris, I'm happy to post to Europe, as long as its insured and so on. Oh, and it would be better if the buyer could arrange for the courier also. Ta, Joe
11. Hiya Biscuit, Have you still got the Zebrano Rebop? Joe
12. Ash, These are great basses. I was looking to sell mine (I have to rationalise my gear down to two basses) but after some reflection I've decided to sell some 4 strings and keep the Spector. I really, really enjoy playing it, its a very versatile bass. Great price for a neck through, hand made bass. Please let me know if, in the unlikely event, you want to sell the case separately.
13. Hiya, If you still have the EV speakers, do you have any idea how much they'd be to post? Joe
14. Bump for further price reduction. Will get weights and measures up when I get the chance.
15. Paul, It's not the lightest of basses. Probably the heaviest I've owned, but its never bothered me. I't a solid ash body I believe. I'll get some new luggage scales tomorrow and weigh it for you.
16. Hi, None of my gear seems to be selling so it's come down to this. Firstly, I'm selling a beautiful Stingray which I've only just got my hands on a few weeks ago. Please note, the fact I am selling is no reflection on the standard of the instrument, this is a fine example and just about the best 'ray I've played. This was going to be my second gigging bass after the '76 precision. But now I just need cash. It has a gorgeous birds-eye neck with a rosewood fingerboard and comes with a natty Liberty strap, smart little dunlop straplocks and a 'gator' style hard case. You really have to look to find any scratches or marks of any kind. weighs around 10lbs on my luggage scale. Mmm....nice. Looking for SOLD Secondly, My 1981 Fullerton fender Precision Special. These are quite rare (I think this is one of only three or four that I've ever heard about on this site). It's in pretty good overall condition for its age as can be seen. It comes with a used but perfectly serviceable Hiscox hard case. This was my main gigging bass for a couple of years and, as much as I love it, it just isn't getting played that much now. It was the first 'active' precision. It has bass and treble controls when active (the treble acts as 'tone' when passive) and a preamp which, I think is cut and boost (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong). The only issue is that the stacked treble and tone pot needs reconditioning or replacing. I was in two minds whether to do this before selling or not, but I thought I'd put it up and see what interest there is. weighs about 11.5 lbs on my luggage scales. As modern precisions are going for upwards of £700 just now. Does SOLD sound about right? BTW, I have the Brass thumb rest and the original pick-guard also. anyway, it's a bit of Fender history. More pics available on request obviously. Cheers, Joe
