1. They normally point downover a bit but that looks a bit more than usual imo. Will post photos of mine.
2. Doesn't look right at all, is there a shim in the neck pocket? Photos of the neck pocket would help.

7. +1 for the MXr blowtorch. Good for hysteria. Gaf, what settings did you use on the Pandora? might give it a try. Either way I know that Chris wolstenholme is a serious pedal freak and owns a multitude which he uses in all sorts of combinations (when recording). It's just a case of getting it as close as you can with what you've got or you'll spend a fortune chasing down the exact sound.

11. Just bought a G&L BEAST from James. Top Guy, great communication. Bass bought and transport sorted all in one go (....late night though). Ta mate. Joe
12. Now that is what my front room would look like if I was single. Bikes and Basses.
13. Sent the blowtorch to Martin and ITS FIXED! Took a few weeks for bits to come from the USA but it's on its way back to me in good working order. All for £25 delivered. Nice bloke to talk to as well. Has a good looking couple of overdrive pedals of his own making and does Mods (will probably try his Bass Bomb Driver when flush). Well chuffed. Thanks for the tip Mr Pablo. Joe
14. Bump for a great bass. Have owned one before and played this particular one at Chris's. Its a great example of a rebop. Very versatile tone wise and SO easy to play. Add to that It's in A1 condition and Chris is a great bloke to deal with. Really wish I had the money.
15. Cheers Pablo, will definitely give him a try. Much obliged folks.
16. I don't thiink these have a diode for protection. Will take it into a shop in town and hope for the best. Cheers
Most of the newer MXR, Dunlop, EH and many other modern pedals use surface-mount components, which make them unrepairable to the average tech... including me, I just don't have the equipment or techniques - or to be really honest, the inclination - to work on them. From the symptoms it sounds worse than something simple like a fried protection diode, that would usually just leave it totally dead. Try to find a tech who will at least open it and tell you if it's go or no go for free.
17. Hello all, Seems like I've commited the cardinal sin where these pedals are concerned and mistaken one power supply for another. Result? A bit of a smell and the light stays on. The effect still works but with a really dirty signal. Has anyone else done this? Is it repairable or is my treasured Blowtorch now just a paperwieght? I'm REALLY miffed about this! Joe
18. Just bought a Squier VM Fretless Jazz from Chris. No hassle, nice bloke and an absolute pleasure to talk to. Oh, and a top bass! He certainly looks after them. Thanks again, Joe Ps. Don't sell that rebop. but if you do...........
19. Got an all black P with a maple neck at the moment and fancying a facelift but the perloid might look a bit naff, Don't suppose you've a tort pickguard you don't wan't? Always worth asking.
20. Kenny, A Bump for the slap bass equivalent of the Bible. You wont find it cheaper than this anywhere people, and I should know 'cos I looked hard enough before paying 30 quid for my own.
21. WOT +1 for the City hall. Well done mate. Seen all my Idols play there over the years. Oh and, BTW ... love your collection of basses (especially the Jazz).
22. Mmm, really, really tempted. Will get back to you asap.
