    Dingwall NG3-5 in stunning Whalepoolburst, made in 2019. Great condition - no dings or scratches anywhere on the body or neck as far as I can see- the only minor condition minus point is a bit of scuffing on the neck pickup cover (see pics). Recently fitted with a set of Newtone custom strings. It's a lovely bass that sounds wonderful and is easy to play. I bought it for a project that never got off the ground, and I can't see me needing a 5 string at any point in my playing future, so go it must! Collection from Sheffield, meet-up or postage at cost. Am also in Manchester fairly frequently, so could meet up when mutually convenient. Happy to answer any queries or provide more photos - just give me a shout.

    Cheers, Jazzy. Seems a bit bonkers to have mixed metric (bridge and PUs) and imperial sizes (truss rod) for the setup screws. But none of my metric allen keys fit the truss rod so I was scratching my head a bit...

    One of the saddle screws on my AVRI Jazz bass has gone awol. Can anyone tell me where I might obtain a replacement? I can find hex drive ones, but not slotted head. Size is 6-32 UNC, length 7/16" Ta!

    Really nice 1994 Ernie Ball Music Man USA Sterling in honeyburst, with lovely unmarked figured maple neck. Has the funky bridge with mutes - pads recently replaced so fully functional and quite useful sometimes. Great condition, just a few minor marks. Recent set up and fret level/dress by Jon Shuker - plays beautifully with low action. Comes with OHSC in vgc. Weight 4.1 kg / 9lb Collection from Sheffield/meet up preferred. Regularly in Manchester, also. Happy to deliver within an hour or so's drive. Trade considered for a nice, not too heavy5 string.

    A lot of 70s P's and J's seem to have misaligned necks like this. Is that something that can be easily fixed, or is it not something to be concerned about?
