1. I've got this on ebay buy it now at £899 - but will happily sell it here for offers around the £800 mark because it saves a fortune on ebay and paypal fees. What can I say? It's in excellent condition, plays like a dream and sounds brilliant. • Delivery by me means that it goes parcelforce if you want it quick, because at least we still have a village post office. This also means the instrument insurance is limited to £150, with no cover at all for the case. • Due to my rural location it can take a while to organise another courier. • DHL, DPD and the rest treat this place like an island just off the coast of Mars. Despite Glasgow being about an hour away by car. From here that is - it's bit longer to get to Mars. • I'm making this issue perfectly clear because some have had frustrations as I attempt to tie up when I can get a delivery with my work. Being a photographer means I get called to do jobs at very short notice, for indeterminate periods and so it can be challenging to pull all the strands together. I always do pull it together. • I just don't want anyone else getting frustrated (or to receive the understandably irate emails) because they think I'm not bothering my arse to get things done quickly. • Lastly, I don't ship on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Ever. The easiest way if possible is just to meet up - like I did last night in sunny Kirkmuirhill with Craig - and collect. I know that wont be possible for many because of distance, but as I have said, there is always a solution, living in a village of around 700 hybrids means I just cannot guarantee to be as quick as some would like.

 3. 1989 vintage, headstock once cracked, professional luthier repaired some fifteen years ago - never been a problem, so smoothly finished that you cannot feel the repair at all. But, as you can see from the headstock pic, the repair itself is visible, indicating the quality of the finishing work. It's has no impact on tone or playability as far as I can determine. Offers 'round the £925 + shipping mark thank you
 4. For the chap that asked about the colour - it's classic Cherry Sunburst.
 5. Hi guys - pics of my Line 6 Lowdown 300 Pro as requested for Basschatter who wants to see this Cheers! 2 minutes - supakwik sale Cheers Craig

 7.
Interesting as someone pointed me in the direction of Transglobal as a means to transport to the USA relatively cheaply, I'll watch how this pans out!
It panned out as follows. 1. The DHL driver was as good as his word and returned on time. 2. He did not have the correct paperwork for any of the items to be shipped and it seems he was never going to. If TransGlobal had done their work correctly they would have known this. 3. I called TransGlobal whilst the driver waited, he then spoke to them and pointed out their misunderstanding of DHL work methods. 4. Transglobal advised me to send the items anyway - even without the paperwork they had insisted must be present both this morning and yesterday - and the correct labels would be applied at the depot in Bellshill. 5. That might have been ok - if it were not for the fact that the distribution depot is in Linwood (Bellshill is a drop off point only prior to Linwood sorting and forwarding) and there was no way for the driver to be able to attach the appropriate paperwork as that could only be originated at Linwood. 6. Finally, TransGlobal could not provide tracking numbers because they had to come from DHL and it dawned on me that Transglobal were making the solution up as they went along because they had no clear understanding of the DHL service they employ as third party agents. 7. Finally, there was no tracking details or insurance confirmation without the correct paperwork so I was not willing to let the three instruments leave without the tracking information - or, indeed, the insurance confirmations - and they couldn't provide them unless I agreed to spend another day in the house for collections tomorrow. You can imagine the confidence I had in them to get things right by now. 8. I cancelled all of the orders and now await the refunds. Right now the solution I need is a decent courier to take a bass and guitar to England and a bass to Holland.
 8. I've been trying manfully to send three items sold here via transglobal express - a sales agent for DHL. It's been an absolute nightmare and I've now been stuck in the house for the best part of two days as they simply failed to turn up yesterday. Now, today, they have turned up without the paperwork. The DHL driver is coming back at 2pm to sort things out and hopefully with the right paperwork. I there ANY reliable service to be had?
 9. just marking this thread as sold too so as to avoid any confusion
 10. And it's sold - heading off for a new life south of the border. Cheers!
 11.
Is this just for small transactions or it works for bass sales too? Let's say £600?
Yes, it works for larger sums too.
 12.
Nick (OldHorseMurphy) was looking for one a while back. Peter
Peter: will he know this is one is available?
 13. Hi guys - I've got a spare, original Ric hard-shell case in very good nick for sale. It's the current model - maybe three years old - not the retro one. £205 for a new from Rosetti with a lead time of 'several months' they just told me. What's it worth? I'm open to offers and will put up a photo if required. Although I don't have a Ric bass to show inside it.
 14.
Is it just me or are those not the usual pups? And I'm referring to the bass...
They are the usual - I just fitted a pair of pup covers to finish the look I wanted. Easily removable and I'll include the originals if someone would prefer them.
 15.
No once again : I find this Jazz terrible.... ( terrible : 2nd degree, as an earthquake, amazing...etc...ironic you know ) but , may be, it could be due to the photographer... cause I'm not fan of Jazz in general, but I find this one beautiful..... Do I need to continue ? or is it clear ? (But my english is not so clear I think.... )
Clear enough mon amee
 16.
Is she included in the sale?
She is a karate expert (indeed, her sister is a black belt) so, basically, I'm not brave enough to ask her. Even in jest. I'm sure you understand
 17.
The only Jazz I find terrible... Maybe due to the the extrem talentuous photographist...
Maybe it's the translation, but are you saying you find this jazz terrible because I'm an extremely talentless photographer? I've had my fair share of criticism over the years, but if I am right then that's something special to remember
 18.
Pictures of the front and back of the unit for sale itself.
If £200 is too rich - I'll drop the price. £175 + £10 for shipping. A bargain, I'd say.
 19.
white binding I think.
White binding it is.
