9. Yeah nice...I priced this one up with the UK distributor, and was told it is on special order only. If I ordered in June then it would be on the September shipment, and should be with me by october / november ! Only £835 Still thinking about this one.

16.
EHX valves are gainy and grindy.
Really would like to try this out on my 3500, just to see how it affects things. Anyone know what the valve is? A 12AX7? So a EHX equivalent would be? Can any damage be done when changing preamp valves like this? Thanks and sorry for the hijack
17. Yeah had a quick play with it, and a run through with the guys in the band playing acoustic guitars. Comments were favourable...Warm, fat but still clear. I would keep it if I didin't have other gear to use. See if you can find dealer in your area, so you can test it yourself. I'm now looking at trying out hydrive cabs to see how they compare to my 4x10XL cab. Thanks for the BUMP !
18. Guys I have a brand new Hartke hydrive bass combo for possible sale. I was given this as a present. I wanted a 115XL cab to go with my existing rig, but this came instead. I've had it for about 2 months. I had a cover made by my wife and then it has sat untouched in the lounge......I will get severe earache if it stays any longer. So possible trade and cash or a straight cash sale, not sure yet. Make me an offer as my local guitar shop said they could not really offer me what is it worth. Totally unmarked. This is the guy: http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...8&brandID=3 250 watts 1 x 15 + horn. Horn has a three way switch ( off - -3 and -6dB, I think ) Light and very loud. Warm sounding too. Manual and even the home made cover thrown in Open to offers. EDIT: High frequency attenuation switch (On, -6 dB, Off). Not as stated above
19. Perfect 10 I use an Ashdown perfect 10 for acoustic rehearsal. 30 watts and it has power to spare. £80 from Dolphin music I think it was. Bargain !
